In debate, Democrats steer clear of economy

........Over four hours of debate among what felt like a thousand Democratic candidates, a few notable topics scarcely came up. There was no heated tussle over jobs plans. No argument over how to set the national debt on a better path, and no proposals to balance the budget or change the country’s entitlement structure. There was less discussion of getting work to America’s forgotten communities than in the last election cycle........

ME: Of course they steered clear of the economy. Trump is an economic god. Lowest unemployment in 50 years, booming economy, re-negotiated new trade deals, manufacturing jobs coming back.... ....what the hell could these half-witted socialist idiots say against that!!

UPDATE: They still do in their recent debates

get an education douche
Rising inequality is one problem with the apparently robust US economy.

  • By most major indicators, the US economy is doing pretty well right now.
  • But many Americans feel left out of the apparent boom.
  • We put together 10 charts that help illustrate that divergence.

And the Democrat solution is to give you free shit to make up for your lack of education?....dumbass.
Like trump gave billions to farmers ? Jerkoff

Guess you should of been a farmer, you ignorant twit. Then maybe you'd stop your whining.

Who's being left behind?
Normally it would be the black community or other minorities.
But we all know their employment numbers are at record highs.
And like with ALL other records set by AH trump he did it on Obamas shoulders
As I’ve written before, Trump’s claims about the black unemployment rate are somewhat misleading. While it’s undeniable that the rate has hit a new low, it is also true that black unemployment began declining during the Obama administration and has been falling steadily for the past several years.

Trump hasn’t reversed those gains, but that doesn’t mean he can claim full credit for them either.

You still using that tired ass schtick?
Even dem politicians aren't going there.

And another thing they almost left out entirely if not for just one question at the start - the impeachment.
There was an OBVIOUS agreement between ABC and the candidates to not talk about the biggest political story this century.

The OP was true when I posted it and it still is:

Trump's economy is roaring. Will it carry him in 2020?

Trump's economy is roaring. Will it carry him in 2020?

WASHINGTON — There's really only one word — "boom!" — to describe the economic picture surrounding President Donald Trump 18 months away from the 2020 election.

On Friday, the Labor Department announced that the economy added 263,000 jobs and hourly wages grew by two-tenths of a percent in April. The unemployment rate — 3.6 percent — is at its lowest level since December 1969, before the births of nine of the Democrats running for his job.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average index of top stocks has been hovering near its record high in recent days, gross domestic product rose by 3.2 percent in the first quarter, and while some Democratic candidates are making the case that income inequality means that most Americans aren't feeling real benefits from the big numbers, that message is competing both with the broader figures and other topics.

Trump's allies see a president who is competently leading the country in the right direction on jobs and the economy, the issues that typically matter most to voters, and a Democratic Party arguing for a 180-degree pivot at its own peril.
