Any one want to bet on impeachment. Based on history out of 43 presidents none have been impeached and removed. Not very good odds. There would certainly be a lot of reps worried about killing respect for the presidency by impeaching one. IDK maybe that ship has already sailed!

What may happen is that if the Dems take both chambers of Congress solidly this fall and begin impeachment proceedings, the GOP leaders will visit Trump and say, "we cannot guarantee we have the votes to protect you in the Senate." (At least eight would vote against him now). Trump may resign if that is the case.
