Impeach Harry Reid For Lying to America

Willard has 10 years of tax returns to go, otherwise Reid still owns Willard as his bitch boy.

Thank you for not reading the article which stated:

A letter from auditors at Price Waterhouse Cooper states unequivocally that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney paid taxes every year between 1990 and 2009. This puts an end, once and for all, to irresponsible left-wing media speculation started by Senator Harry Reid and the Huffington Post in July.

Why are you vying for my end-of-year box-of-rocks dumb award? :lmao:

What, some letter that states "he paid taxes! trust us!" is suppose to be good enough? :lmao:
Good enough for anyone with a brain, you brainless twit.

For the lazy assed hacks who can't research:

Letter from PricewaterhouseCoopers | Mitt Romney for President

And... just to be fair... I would advise that - if you're gonna slam PWC - you should research their client list first... lest you make complete fucking fools of yourselves. Just sayin'.

Works for me

And.... his tax rate is about the same as Obama. So if you want to rant about Romney paying more... talk to your president and ask how much he overpaid by first. MmmK?

Difference is that Obama would sign a tax increase for his own bracket.....Romney won't

That's because Romney knows that increasing taxes on anyone is just smoke and mirrors. It won't solve anything... it's just a shiny object to distract fools. Do the math.

Obama had nobody but himself to consider in releasing his tax returns, put nobody at risk, and could claim the poverty that he claims (which we all now know is a crock.) Romney on the oher hand has run businesses and is involved in foundations to help others and is the patriarch of a large family who do not deserve to be outed in their financial dealings. The tax returns Romney has already released have been picked apart with a fine toothed comb and trashed and demonized and misrepresented. If he releases the rest, he not only makes innocent people vulnerable to that, but that is all we would see in the media from now until the election.

Is it really so important when it is not required of a candidate?

And an increase in Romney's tax bracket would be a tax increase for Mr. Foxfyre and me too and we could qualify for food stamps this year if we needed them. (We don't.) All of Romney's income is from capital gains on his investments. Anything he earns he gives away as charity. Increase those capital gains and you will see unemployment go up by a lot of points. Make that capital gains rate permanent, and you will begin to see unemployment coming down.

Does anyone really think that obama's campaign staff hasn't obtained Romney's tax returns and scrutinized them very carefully?
Believe me! If there was anything there, it would be at the top of every liberal rag in the country.

For sure. Obama has access to anybody's tax returns he wants to see. He probably isn't making a big deal out of Romney's returns because he knows it would show Romney has consistently been the generous, altruistic person that he is and has not been involved in questionable activities. So long as the tax returns remain unpublished, Romney can continue to be accused with innuendo.

Question:

Why did the Romney campaign think they deserved to see more of Paul Ryan's tax returns than they think the American people deserve to see of Romney's?

We did. When Clinton raised taxes and balanced the budget.

Do you have a credible--that means something more credible than Think Progress or Media Matters or similar sites--link for this allegation?

Harry Reid not releasing his own tax returns

LAS VEGAS — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid again deflected questions Monday about releasing his tax returns, even as he continued to pound the demand for Mitt Romney to make more of his own public.

Instead, Reid pointed to the financial disclosure forms he files as a member of Congress, which provide different information.

“I’m a member of Congress now, I don’t make too much money,” said Reid, whose net worth was estimated at $10 million in 2010. “But it’s all listed every year.” ...

How Did Harry Reid Get Rich?
His career in public service has ended up being remarkably lucrative.

By Betsy Woodruff

Try this thought experiment. Imagine that someone grows up in poverty, works his way through law school by holding the night shift as a Capitol Hill policeman, and spends all but two years of his career as a public servant. Now imagine that this person’s current salary — and he’s at the top of his game — is $193,400. You probably wouldn’t expect him to have millions in stocks, bonds, and real estate.

But, surprise, he does, if he’s our Senate majority leader, whose net worth is between 3 and 10 million dollars, according to OpenSecrets.org. When Harry Reid entered the Nevada legislature in 1982, his net worth was listed as between $1 million and $1.5 million “or more,” according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. So, since inquiring minds inquire, let’s try to figure out how Reid’s career in public service ended up being so lucrative. He hasn’t released his tax returns, which makes this an imperfect science, but looking at a few of his investments helps to show how he amassed his wealth.

Anyway, we did not begin to see substantial revenues that overtook most spending until the GOP controlled Congress CUT taxes and persuaded Clinton to sign that legislation along with welfare reform. Took three different tries to get him to sign that--his veto pen was busy--but to his credit he finally did. And then the economy took off. It not only produced significant prosperity for America but it saved Clinton's presidency and gave him at least a couple of things to trot out as a positive legacy.

Crooked politicians and crooks in general are going to be crooks wherever the system allows them to be. And we currently have a Congress that allows such large loopholes for corruption that you could drive a convoy of Mack trucks through them. The GOP has to accept culpability for those loopholes as much as the Democrats because they didn't plug them when they had the chance, and yes, some Republicans took advantage of them too. Harry Reid has gone way over and above just taking advantage of self serving loopholes though.

But it won't matter much until we have an objective media that actually does its job. We can sure keep telling it like it is here and everywhere else we have a forum to use though.

The only trouble for making Republicans partly responsible for Democrat wrongful use of taxpayer fund is that if you review their voting records, you will not find frivolous demands. About 80% of them vote no on frivolous spending bills, or even reasonably good bills wherein attachments for Union hiring demands on government positions are made, where too many irrelevant demands are made on taxpayer-based funds, and when the people are not benefiting by the legislation.

In a small state, you meet these people at church, at civic functions, and across the street in your own neighborhood. I lived in Wyoming for 35 years. There, the VOTERS would get really nasty at any politician who levied so much as a half cent for a very good project, because they knew once that tax was in place, in the 3 years it took to collect enough to pay for expanding the public library, that tax stayed in there for every new civic demand that came down the pike. So they'd leave the penny there and raise cain over the next proposed penny, which of course, would be roundly voted down by faithful tax-haters that the community in the state had grown to be.

I know it was the voters making a ruckus that kept politicians thifty, but even so, if you want to know the truth, look over your favorite Republican's votes. 80% of those will always vote against every tax, except for those in the State of Maine who say they're conservative, but vote with the liberals, and they also ignore the real problems bills have with add-ons to the bill. What seemed insignificant on the Obamatax thing was the clause in there about opening to labor unions. That will quadriple the cost of Obamacare unless it is rescinded by the next Congress. That will not happen unless we reinstate conservatives who vote down expensive measures line by line by line.

Harry Reid was lying about Romney, though. He deserves retaliation for his calumny.
