. . . and it is a deal breaker for Hispanic voters. Hispanics overwhelmingly want illegals on a path to protection and will strike out at nativists.

NOT A DEAL BREAKER FOR REPUBLICANS

Even among Republicans, many say they could see themselves voting for a candidate who wants to keep Obama's action in place.

Three-quarters of Republicans say they would prefer to vote for a candidate who would undo it, but a combined 55 percent would either prefer to support a candidate who would keep it in place or could imagine themselves voting for such a candidate.

Even among conservative Republicans, nearly half — 47 percent — could at least imagine voting for a candidate who would keep the action in place.

Significant minorities of Republicans — about 4 in 10 — support allowing immigrants brought to the United States as children, along with parents of citizens or permanent residents, to stay legally.

Only the voters that will greatly, or somewhat, benefit from illegal immigrants being in this country want them here. There're just no other logical reasons to want them here. I'm sure building contractors, motel and hotel owners, meat packaging plants, framers, lawn care contractors, and others that that hire and use them , want them here. All others, especially those that see the tremendous cost to taxpayers, want then sent back to their home countries. They bring absolutely no benefit except their cheap labor.

So, in my opinion, the greed factor pushes for illegal immigrants to live and work in this country.

Instead of wasting billions of tax dollars on trying to keep people out why not just loosen our immigration laws and then we won't need to keep dwelling on this issue every single election.
