I'm Wondering How Many Have Misgivings Now About The Current Administration?

Damn moving clip annie. Thanks.

As for Obama this isn't his show. I doubt it ever as been. We get the worst of Harry and Nancy whose cohorts prevented any meaningful economic reform while signing off on sweet heart mortgages from some of the worst offenders and taking crap loads of money from Fannie and Freddie into the bargain.

For what it's worth 1/2 the lobbyists in Washington don't work for corporations and the only reason corporations have any is to try to keep from being screwed.

Yes, I do.

I did not vote for the man, let me make that clear.

One thing he's doing that has bothered me and leaves me with concern, is the fact that he's apologizing for the United States. This to me is insulting to the American people.
Sure, all countries have made mistakes, but do we see any of their leaders apologizing for their country? Hell no we don't!

So what Barack needs to do, is STOP APOLOGIZING FOR OUR COUNTRY!!!!!

President Obama has not apologized for America. He is just being diplomatic.

When he says "In the past America has been arrogant" What he means is "George Bush was an a-hole and treated you like shit"

When he says "the US has not engaged its neighbors" he means "George Bush was a bully and treated you like shit"

There is nothing wrong with apologizing for George Bush......I am still waiting for my apology

Ohh look, someone else that left his brains at the door when Obama showed up.

I remember when the United States of America would speak and the world would listen.

I remember when the United States of America would lead the free world, and the free world would follow.

I remember when an American service man walked down a street in a far away land and the people were thankful.

I remember when we were THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN HISTORY

I remember before Jan 09.......................

It's a shame that our current administration and congress want to follow the old world instead of lead the new.

MM gives typical mindless chatter of the squirrels from the right running gathering acorns (that's funny!). All he has a spelling error. The far right is mis-informed, and most Americans are more satisfied with BHO than with GWB. Move along, MM, nothing here for you.

"All he has a spelling error." People with grammatical errors shouldn't throw stones about spelling....

2010 will show how middle America is not happy with Barry and his spacey crew of leftists. I half expect a declaration of martial law and an attempt to cancel the coming elections to preserve their majorities.

Its not the "far right" the dems need to worry about, its the middle of the bell-curve of voters, many of whom have voters remorse already.
Hint: GWB will not be running in 2010 or 2012, so Barry will need to find a better example of his leadership than by comparison to GWB.
Maybe Barry will blame FXN for the coming election losses?

Ha ... he doesn't know how. One year in (almost) and he still cant stand on his own 2 feet.

That makes it all okay in the Obamaphile world!

Sad that you don't think the US is the Greatest Country in History. Who, in your view has supplanted us?

Far less misgivings now compared to before the election. His conduct in comparison to Palin's implosion and the Teahacker explosion, Barak looks just fine.
You can't even fucking spell his name. It's Barack.

But thanks for giving me a perfect example of how I was going to respond to the OP:

The people not having misgivings are the kool-aid drinking cult worshiping Obamaphiles such as Jake here, and ones who simply aren't following what's going on. In the case of Jake and his ilk, they don't really care what Obama does, it's all good and they will continue to indiscriminately imbibe and regurgitate the WH kool-aid. For those not really following what's going on, there's really not much to say.

Clear-thinking and fair-minded Americans who are informed and are watching this with normal skepticism and critical thought, have many misgivings.

But you went right along with George Jr., old boy.

Sure, Gary, sure. Frankly I think you have the screwed mixed up the the screwies.

Oh my, another freakazoid posting. President Obama has a higher popularity rating than the percentage he won the Presidency by. And the only place in the nation where the Republicans have a positive rating is in the south. In the Northeast, they are in single digits. 2010 might be other than you expect.

It's pretty obvious that you have not been paying attention to anything. Palin and the tea partiers are not in power. 10% unemployment when Obama said it would not go above 8%when everyone signed onto the no stimulus stimulus bill without reading it first. His tough talk on Afghanistan only to leave our troops over there without the additional 40,000 troops requested by a general that he appointed. A health care plan that is being debated behind closed doors by 3-4 senators, when he said his administration would bring a new level of transperency. Complaining about the debt the Bush adminstration ran up only to quadruple that debt in his first year in office. Yeah, he's doing just fine.:lol: He does exactly the opposite of what he says he's going to do.:cuckoo:

Then you believe that, maple. If it makes you feel better in dark of night thinking that Obama is in trouble, go for it.

No misgivings at all.

I said from day one he would be a horror show, all you had to really do is listen to what he said and read what he wrote in the years before the election.

He is, was, and always will be a radical looking to fundementaly reshape the USA to make it a socialist state and vastly increase the size of government.

His picks for 'czars' highlight who is, radicals, communists, and the borderline insane.

He's not 'better' then chimpola, is is just a different brand of stupid.

The problem with what you're saying though is that he hasn't really passed anything all that significant other than that stupid expensive cash (on a foreign car) for (your American) clunker program.

Yesterday, in expressing my belief that the White House should have known better, I actually said this on the air:

Well, it's not only aggressive, it's almost Nixonesque. I mean, you think of what Nixon and Agnew did with their enemies list and their attacks on the media; certainly Vice President Agnew's constant denunciation of the media. Of course, then it was a conservative president denouncing a liberal media, and of course, a lot of good liberals said, 'Oh, that's ridiculous. That's an infringement on the freedom of press.' And now you see a lot of liberals almost kind of applauding what the White House is doing to Fox News, which I think is distressing.
Where do I begin. I will tell you, that the Nixon "enemies list" is the first thing I thought of when the topic came up. And obviously, that's what was going through my mind during yesterday's conversation.

But comparing the tactics of the Nixon administration -- which bugged and intimidated and harrassed journalists -- to that of the Obama administration was foolish, facile, ridiculous and, ultimately, embarrassing to me. I should have known better and, in fact, I do know better. I was around during the Nixon years. I am fully cognizant of what they did and attempted to do.

I still think the Obama administration showed a childish, thin skin in its dealings with and reaction to Fox.

But childishness is a far cry from illegal and unconstitutional activities. And for that I apologize for a dumb comparison.

I did?

Actually, no I did not. But, Booooosh isn't the topic here, is it?

That's all you Obamaphiles have as a defense... Boooooooosh!

I think the same people that didn't elect Obama continue to have misgivings about the administration.

One of my friends who is more radically left than I am is frustrated with Obama and thinks he ought to be more forceful with his political agenda and take less guff from the right wing.

Just sayin..... I predict a two term presidency.

I voted for Obama and I haven't had a moment's concern about him and his administration. I think he's doing a great job. As a citizen of the US, I'm a happy camper.
