We've been over this multiple times before, and it's tedious. All I can say at this point is this: If you are saying - and I believe you are - that partisan blabbers from both ends of the spectrum do not regularly engage in the following partisan behaviors:
- Maximizing data and information that supports their agenda
- Minimizing data and information contrary to their agenda
- Spinning, deflecting and massaging facts to support their agenda
- Putting words in the mouths of their opponents
- Creating straw men at every opportunity
- Being obtuse, pretending they simply can't understand points made by the "other guys"

Nice crazy rant about MSNBC. I mean, I don't even know some of the names he's rambling about, given how rarely I watch. Such a weird MSNBC fixation makes Mac look like a GOP crank. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.
Now, MSNBC (a 50/50 conservative/liberal network) isn't perfect, but they're not serial liars like the Republicans and their pet media. Mac sees a liberal jaywalking, and declares it means the liberals are just as bad as the conservative bank robbers. His phony equivalence song and dance is delusional. Being a moral absolutist, I simply state the truth. The liberals lie much less often than the conservatives.
That statement of fact enrages the phony equivalence crowd. After, if the moral relativists didn't mindlessly assume both sides are the same, they'd have to actually start looking at the facts instead of handwaving it all away. That defeats the whole purpose of declaring yourself "independent", which is so you can claim the moral high ground without having to actually do anything.
