There is a problem, considering the Bill of Rights is a bill that was written to outline the limits of the federal government and the rights of the people, citizens and individuals in the US. The Bill of Rights was written with that specific purpose. Now, it becomes dangerous when you allow the federal government to put limitations on any of your rights based on the actions of a mentally deranged person. Most legal gun owners will never shoot another person. These people don't represent most American citizens or most American gun owners. No matter how many laws and regulations you pass, criminals and people who want to murder other people are not going to cooperate. Crime and murder will not go away because of gun regulations. In other countries where they are perhaps too poor to even afford a weapon, they resort to other means of killing, such as bombs which are very cheap and easy to put together, using a wide variety of ingredients depending on what kind of bomb you want to make.

Wow.....if those sales are in fact illegal....we can already arrest the felons buying the guns under existing law. In fact....we could have undercover police officers at gun shows selling guns, and then see if the buyers are felons, then we can arrest them. There is no gun show loophole. No...they don't....because there is too much chance that a private seller is an undercover police officer....all the research shows that criminals go to friends and family to get their guns....and those people either stole the guns, or went to a gun store, passed the background check, and then sold the guns to the criminals.....which means, genius, they would also pass a background check for a private sale.....

And let's say a criminal takes a chance and buys a gun from a private seller.....when he is caught with the gun, he can be arrested. In most of those cases, the authorities emphatically should put the straw purchasers in prison for as long as possible. Throw a few gangsters’ grandmothers behind bars for 20 years and see if that gets anybody’s attention. The reason you need gun registration for Universal Background Checks is so that you know where the gun originated......you could find a guy with a gun, and you won't be able to tell if he had a background check when he bought it from the guy down the street, all they have to do is say he owned it before the law went into effect. So, for universal background checks to work, you have to register all guns, that way you know if the guy down the street owned the gun, and if the new guy owns the gun, you can see if a background check was done...

The only reason the anti gunners want universal background checks is to get gun registration.....they already know that criminals don't buy guns by going through current background checks and won't go through background checks for private sales.....

The reason you need gun registration for Universal Background Checks is so that you know where the gun originated......you could find a guy with a gun, and you won't be able to tell if he had a background check when he bought it from the guy down the street, all they have to do is say he owned it before the law went into effect. So, for universal background checks to work, you have to register all guns, that way you know if the guy down the street owned the gun, and if the new guy owns the gun, you can see if a background check was done...

The only reason the anti gunners want universal background checks is to get gun registration.....they already know that criminals don't buy guns by going through current background checks and won't go through background checks for private sales.....
