I'm so old that when I visited the Empire St Building

in 1965 - went to the observation deck - it was THE TALLEST MAN-MADE STRUCTURE IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Empire State Building was the official tallest building when I went to it in 1965.

That was the thrill.

Actually - the Chrysler Bldg may have been the2nd tallest.
