My cat used to drag his sock out in the middle of the living room and hump it....I finally learned to hide it before company would come over.

He does it when he wants attention, and that is often just after we go to bed.
I take old socks, wash them then tie a knot in them, these are his toys. He drags them all over the house.

I have a five year old, it is when they get really quiet that you get worried.

I was taking a shower and Mom was away, suddenly it got real quiet and I thought 'what is going on, why isn't he banging on something or yelling or making the dogs howl'.

I rushed out wet and naked only to find the little bugger staring at the tropical fish.

And he was not even tapping on the glass trying to drive them nuts!
