The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together.

I thought Obama was saying that businesses succeed ONLY because of big government.

Why did he say the above, then?

You are someone that agrees that the successful enjoy their success a bit too much, and must thus be brought down several notches, through both taxation and rhetorical flourish. That is why you see no issue with a president telling the successful, whom he wants to soak, that their success is not really their own. You have the perspective of a parasite. Just accept it.

Sorry, but can you read?

It's only their own if they're the only person on the planet and they built their business from scratch without help from anyone - including animals. Imagine that...

I see your problem. When you become a modern republican a large portion of your brain dies. Either that or it leaps out of your head to avoid the complete idiocy that has infected your skull. This part of your brain also allows you to process everything you see into a coherent picture. This leads to a medical condition called selective blindness. We often grow out of this condition after we grow out of our teenage years, but republicans are special. This conditions allows republicans to live in a special world of their own making where Obama cannot do anything right even when he does exactly what they want, and it allows them to avoid any and all wrongdoing by members of their own party.

This condition bares a striking resemblance to people who have suffered massive brain damage altering their perception of the world to the point where they can no longer see what everyone else sees. It has been hypothesized that a person with a fully functional brain can become a republican through the use of blunt force trauma to their skull.

No, it's their own, REGARDLESS. You or anyone else has the opportunity to do the same thing in this country, that's why millions of people around the world are STILL trying to get here.

It's nobody's fault but your own if you don't DO something with that opportunity.

Another example of idiot libs eating their own?

If they can do it all on their own why would they need to come here?

You see, a prime example of what I said. The subject completely ignores the part of the quote that you included in letters large enough to be visible from space. The fact is that this poor deluded individual cannot see all of the quote and wanders around in a state of bitterness and hate thinking the president of the US has something personal against him.

It really is a sad and pathetic slug of a human carcass that is left behind when the brain suffers so much damage as to make one a modern republican. I think that these creatures will someday learn how to infect others with their stupidity through physical contact and bring about the sheeple apocalypse.

It may be their "own", but they didn't build it on their "own"... unless they were the only person on the planet.

But, that's not what Obama said: "If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."

Oohpoopoopoo and shitting bull are perfectly articulating the OWS parasite perspective on this matter.

But someone that does not share the same exaltation of failure and scornof success would see things differently. They would see that everyone pays for the infrastructure Obammy believes deserves much credit for successes. They would also see that everyone has the same access to those roads, and that those that have succeeded have paid far more for that infrastructure than the OWS parasites. That person would see that, when everyone has the same access to infrastructure, yet only a few become successful, it stands to reason that it is not the infrastructure that the successful man has been paying for that produced that success. A non owser would wonder how much credit we all get for the millions of OWS losers, if we al also get credit for the success of others.

So you see, there are more perspectives, aside from the losers perspective from OWS that oopoopoopoo and shitting bull have adopted.

If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

I wonder why he said that?

He tells you why almost immediately after he says it.

He also included the "context" which you left out.

See, more proof of their minimized brain function.

Here's some English for you: "If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."
