    Animal Farm can be anything to anyone. Like the fiction of the novel "1984" it's just one man's cynical (if erroneous) view of the future. Literary snobs love it because they are literary snobs. Don't lose any sleep over the 1945 novel by a self abusing Brit who died at 46 years old. Wiki is too polite to characterize Orwell as a socialist but that's what he was.
