It will be easy. They will go with "if you are not a cop, you can't conceal carry"

Or unless you are friends with someone in the government, then OF COURSE, we will get you a permit right away. Bans are for the little people.

The whole thing was probably never anything more than a publicity stunt.

*sigh* Sometimes these kinds of things just piss me off, sometimes they just make me feel so tired that I approach apathy. People do not understand that a bill like this really and truly creates more danger than it eliminates. A bolt action rifle is not a good option for in home self defense. Don't get me wrong, I'd take it if that was all I had available. But it adds a whole lot of additional variables to a situation that work against the innocent victim.

It also is mind numbing that people are so hellbent on the cosmetics of a weapon. How in the world does outlawing pistol grips on rifles make society safer?
