At the same time that immigration—especially undocumented immigration—has reached or surpassed historic highs, crime rates have declined, notably in cities with large numbers of undocumented immigrants, including border cities like El Paso and San Diego.
Incarceration rate for native-born men in the 18-39 age group was five times higher than for foreign-born men in the same age group.
Data from the census and other sources show that for every ethnic group, incarceration rates among young men are lowest for immigrants, even those who are least educated and least acculturated.

This according to INS/FBI 2006 report:

95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.
86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens.
75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.

Sorry. I can't go along with that line. I don't think the INS or the FBI are in the business of LYING. I think the facts you see on that site are correct. Maybe the illegal alien coddlers would like to read some of it to get a better idea of the people they're codding.... criminals.

My job went to India, I could live a heck of a lot better in India on $4. an hour than I can here on $9. an hour, but would they let me follow my job? No, those jobs are for THEIR citizens. The truth is that in their home countries you can live a lot better on a lot less. They come here because they can make more, they under cut our workers and then they send money home and when things get tough, they go home and live on all that money they sent home. We are left to clean up the mess.

That is not an accurate claim inasmuch as the immigration boom of the 1990's was caused by the economic upheaval of large portions of the Mexican working class...which lends credence to the infant industries argument against trade liberalization.
