And you know who's not coming to America because of Republicans? Asian scientists. Like we got German scientists in WW2. They are instead going to Canada, Australia, etc. Not America because America is anti immigration especially if Trump wins. So we are not getting the best and brightest anymore.

The answer is not to ignore those here illegally. if we're going to let them stay, put them at the back of the line behind those who are going through the process to be here legally, vet and screen them, but DON'T just turn them loose in the country. IOW, enforce the law.
