This is the problem in this country. Here you have a repeat offender, awaiting trial for a home invasion where he robbed the home owner at gun point....and the freaking judge let's him out on bail.........

And then it is up to a 7-11 clerk to actually stop the guy...by shooting him during another robbery....

This Guy Tried To Rob A 7-Eleven. The Clerk Had A Gun.

A man attempted to rob a 7-Eleven in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Saturday, but was stopped by a clerk with a gun.

The man, identified as Davin McClenney, allegedly attempted the robbery at 1:06 a.m. but was shot by a 7-Eleven clerk who has not yet been publicly identified.

When police arrived at the scene, McClenney was already down with a bullet in his upper body. He was taken to the hospital, where he is currently in critical condition.

McClenney has a prior criminal record that includes three robberies, one of which was a home invasion in July 2016 that involved him reportedly taking numerous items from the homeowner at gunpoint. He was set to stand trial for the crime in August, but a judge granted his release from jail on bond in December.

The liberals will go and paint McClenney as a victim and the 7-11 clerk will have to do time, because McClenny just wanted some free stuff at 7-11. The family of McClenny will lawyer up and take 7-11 to court just so they can get some FREE money along with the attorney.

A police officer at my station was stabbed in the face while sleeping by a home invader (a few stitches, he's OK). The guy was on bail for TWO previous home invasions.

Imagine how many other people this guy robbed at gunpoint before he was shot by the clerk...

And then there is this....this guy is a repeat offender, a felon.....and he is arrested on a gun charge, and armed robbery....and the freaking judge lets him out on bail.........where he goes and gets another illegal gun.......a gun he can't buy, own or carry, and finally gets caught in this robbery.....how many other people did he rob.....? Did he shoot someone else that we don't know about? And the judge let him out on bail....it is very easy to see the clerk being murdered by this guy because the judge was an idiot...

The problem in this country isn't guns......the problem is a justice system that allows violent criminals out on bail, and then if they are convicted they get short sentences.......that is the problem.......not law abiding gun owners.

Unlikely the defender will do time, but 7-11 has strict rules about employees not defending themselves. He'll likely lose his job.

George Zimmerman was being beaten to death by a black man who hated homosexuals, and defended himself and had to go to court, just because the liberals though George was a white guy who hated blacks. We know the ending of that story.

George did a lot of things wrong that aggravated the situation.

No...actually, not really. He had no direct contact with the kid, and was leaving the area when the kid launched a pre-meditated attack against him....

He was on Neighborhood Watch, which has rather specific procedures concerning actions when dealing with a suspicious person. One is you don't leave your car and follow the SP around on foot.

In doing so he attracted Martin's attention. He created an unnecessary situation.

Suspicious person? You call it in immediately and let the cops handle it. Period. You don't play cop.

The procedural also had something about not carrying a firearm when on watch. We here all had a good laugh about that one.

I doubt it.
