God I hate the fucking school system.
Wife taught 4 years, was up for tenure- then fired.
Today she met up with another former (good) teacher. This gal served as a 1-on-1 aid to a profoundly autistic student. Anyhow- this teacher got shuffled away from her charge and was given various latent duties. When it came time for this kid's IEP meeting they scheduled it for when they knew the kid's parents couldn't attend.
Then- the principal approached this student's aid, blamed the whole thing on her, and said " this is all your fault and you need to find employment elsewhere- I'll pray for you" Seriously.
The principal is replacing teachers with her fellow church-goers, friends, and family.
It's totally fucked up. The shit that goes down in the public school system nationwide is criminal.
To hell with teacher unions. Administrators, principals, supervisors- they're corrupt.
I've seen it first hand as a substitute teacher. The whole arena is filled with it and it has got to end.
I witnessed first hand a tenured faculty member putting his hands all over second grade girls.
You have no clue of the perversions that your kids are subjected to.
