The answer is YES! First, they raised out sales tax, utility tax and gas tax to the top 3 highest in the nation. Then they raise the income tax to the top five highest on the middle class (yes some are higher, like CA goes to 10%, but on $1 million and up, in IL you could make $10K a year and get taxed at 5%). Then they raised out corporate tax to the HIGHEST IN THE WORLD. Now they want to raise our tolls, DOUBLE OUR TOLLS!!! Note: Going from the burbs to the city and you can go through as many as 6 tolls!!!

The tolls were started as a TEMPORARY program to pay for the building of the highways. Then Blago raised the rates on all non-IPASS users, with the quote, "This is to encourage IPASS usage and WILL NOT be used a a means to raise tolls overall!"

What 3 years later tolls are GOING UP on everyone! If only my wife would allow me and pick up the family and move to TX or AZ like I want to!!!

Chicago is a world class fun city. No better freshwater beaches in the world than Chictown. The restaurants are second to none. Great bike paths in the city. The Museum are great. We have two AMAZING Zoo. The Shed is the BEST acquirum in the world. Grant park is awesome. There is nothing more fun than tail-gating at Bears games. Navy Pier is a blast. Fat people love the Taste of Chicago. We have a ton of great street fest and art fairs. Bear, Bulls, Cubs, Blackhawks, Fire and even the Suxs!

Yet liberals want to destroy the state, by driving out business and taxing the people in revolt!

I said buh bye to NYC in 1993.... I don't miss the place one fucking bit.

I am making more here in New Orleans, the cost of living is much less, taxes are MUCH less, and you don't have to deal with the endless nanny-state.

Toll Roads??!!! How primitive. Is there a charge to use a public bathroom as well?

I hate to say it...but i got to laugh a bit here.

The bridge tolls here are 5-6 dollars.... depending on where you live you could have to cross two bridges in a commute.

Tolls going up by 35 cents? I wish we had it so good.
