CDZ If you . . .

I don't think it matters what the parties ostensibly stand for. They don't, really --- they lie about all that.

Choosing sides and being loyal to the leader of that side is what is important. That would be Trump.

Yes but we are a nation of people who need to cooperate together in order to get things done. Like I said before, your ideas are dependent on people cooperating together. What ends up happening? They end up choosing a leader. We are herd animals and there are always going to be those who are the "alphas" for whatever reason, who will assume control either just naturally due to their magnetism or by force and with the use of violence.

So, it's either one extreme or the other for you, eh? Interesting. Anyways, I think we have been doing relatively well without all out socialism or all our anarchy. Neither extreme would be desirable.

Samuel Adams was one of the founding fathers of OUR form of government. Hello?

“There is one thing which gives me not a little pain, and it is this. The hon. SAMUEL ADAMS, I hear, is in opposition to the plan of federal government“ - Extract of a letter from a gentleman in Salem, to his friend in this town, December 26, 1787

“Adams did not attend the Constitutional Convention of 1787. He rejected the purpose of the Convention, which was to strengthen the central government. Adams feared that a stronger government would infringe on the people’s liberty.” -
Bill of Rights Institute

Maybe so, but he certainly didn't believe in NO GOVERNMENT. He didn't like the idea of a federal government is all.
Adams was wrong

It is the federal government that protects liberty from infringement by the states........civil war, women’s rights, civil rights, gay rights

Your federal government loves and cares about you SO MUCH. Lol. Like your daddy. Who's your daddy? The USA government. :cuckoo:

That certainly doesn't mean that you should trust them to care about you. It is just a bureaucratic organization without any personal "feelings" for you or your plight. In fact, it is made up of the types of people that you should trust the LEAST, and that is why the federal government's "obligations" were meant to be very limited.

I take that as an acknowledgement on your part that we have the greatest government on earth

God Bless the USA!

Yeah, well, I've come to the conclusion that you aren't very bright, so, this is not an expected outcome. :D

Hey, as far as governments go, we don't have it so bad. Things could be a LOT worse. That is what usually happens when you do not have constitutional limitations and jurisdictions for your government, you allow it to become too large and obtrusive into people's lives, or you feed it too much money without any kind of accountability.

So, it's either one extreme or the other for you, eh? Interesting. Anyways, I think we have been doing relatively well without all out socialism or all our anarchy. Neither extreme would be desirable.

You just don't understand... if you did, you could never say these things...

YOU think we're doing relatively well, so YOU feel justified supporting the enslavement of your family, your friends, your neighbors, yourself...

But you don't call it "enslavement" because it looks different than Kunta Kinte style slavery. You don't get it - on a principle level it's exactly the same. Adam and Eve are dropped into a forest by God and left to their own devices. Adam tells Eve, "You will do my bidding or be punished with violence." Does that sound OK to you, or does that sound like slavery?

It makes absolutely no difference if you start tacking stuff on to it - that's just leaves on the tree, not the root. A tree is a tree, regardless of how tall or short it is, how many leaves it has, what color they are... So, Adam only demands 30% of her time, and he provides the service of protection... or Eve gets to choose whether Adam or the snake will be her master - it's still slavery. It's still immoral. Nobody has a right to dictate anything to her - she's her own person and was not put on this planet to follow a single rule set forth by any other human being. She is bound by one law - natrual law, God's law, cosmic law, the law of cause-and-effect consequences - that's it. Man does not have the power or right to make law.

All your reasons and excuses are just fear. You're afraid the world will go to hell in a hand-basket and you're afraid to face that challenge. So instead, you choose slavery, attempting to abdicate the natural responsibility you were born with; and every time you vote, you vote for my slavery as well. That's the truth, and you're being challenged to face reality. Willful ignorance is not becoming, and you're not a good person - despite your "intentions" - if you choose outright denial over your moral responsibility. I am not your enemy; I'm here to present a mirror. Don't just smash it because you don't like what you see. Think deeply and check to see if I'm right.

I'm sorry, but you are living in a very unrealistic fantasy land.

I am going to assume that you do not pay taxes? WTH. Lol.
