Er, this is Chile we're talking about here. When the media frenzy has died-down, any miners who've hinted at the possibility of compensation will simply disappear. Never to be seen again.

If anything, they should count themselves lucky they were rescued. If the same thing had happened in Russia or China, they'd be gassed and the authorities would deny that the Mine ever existed.

Swagger, you made the first comment. Tell us what you meant and then back it with good evidence. Don't pull the old reactionary tactic of (1) posting an opinion that is off the wall, and then (2) when you are called on it, (3) ask someone to refute it with evidence when you have given none in the first place.
