If you thought Bush was dumb, then the idea for national health care is just retarded. Think about it, doctors wont have a reason to compete, which means no reason to perform at their best. people will get even poorer treatment. and longer wait times cause now everyone can go to the doctor. just like everything else, the government should stay out of this and leave it up to our free enterprise style of business, cause lets not forget people, hospitals ARE a business.

Excuse me--you do understand that Doctors do not actually compete against each other.

Congratulations. You just described the way medicine is practiced in England and in Canada. If you want to know how our medical care is going to be when they pass this mess, just look towards them.

so no doctor on this earth competes against another doctor to be crowned "the best blah blah blah doctor in the country?" oh no your right everyone enjoys being average.

For one thing, you're still assuming that a health care reform package will mean a public universal plan. It will not. The reform packages to date continue to center around establishing a means for all Americans to be able to have health INSURANCE. They will then be able to go to their own private doctor or hospital ("free enterprise" remains free).

Oh gawd, why the fuck does anyone bother trying to educate you morons, or even point you in the right direction. Do you even know what day it is half the time?

Please speak kindly to me. I'm a conservative and I'm able to think for myself. I can tell the difference between good and bad. I don't need to be told what is good for me. I can figure it out by myself. I'm not sure I'm a moron. I looked it up in the dictionary and according to Webster, I'm not a moron. You need a better grip on the English language. Now, go fuck yourself.

Yes those that can afford will be on your own and the lower class and immigrants get it for free ...

Actually they do. When a group of doctors sets up a private clinic, taking any prospective patient who desires quick services or a referral to a specialist, they pay close attention to their rate to examine and treat each patient who walks in the door. By offering prompt service they are competing, or when they set a rate for office visit of $50 instead of $70 they are competing both with other clinics and general practitioners. I go for price, convenience, and promptness of service, all competitive edges.
I also recommend my clinic to anyone asking about medical services. That is how it's supposed to work.

After experiencing Obama for 7 months now, I'm beginning to understand how Liberals saw Bush for the last eight years:

A total failure.

The competition in Health Care insurance is between Insurance Companies. We know that there are numerous insurance companies. There is competition. This proposal is to get insurance coverage to those who will not buy it today.

The fact that this is packaged in such misleading verbiage should be yet another warning of the swindle in progress.

Just out of curiosity, how many news stories on the holy quest to control Global Warming note for the viewer that the climate has been cooling 8 years?

Is it a lie to mislead by omission?

What I find stunning is that the longer this failure continues the louder the cheering becomes. In my work i speak to many people daily. It never fails to get a laugh when i mention that our troubles will be over when the stimulus kicks in.

Everyone who knows anything knows that this is an undeniable failure and that it is only getting worse.

In the mean time, the Congress attacks Sarah Palin and Our President tries to organize a Global Warming salvation tour. Can't they find something better to do with their time?

Companies closing their doors on a daily basis, 100's of 1000's of people losing their jobs each and every month. No day passes without the promise of a new tax and still the life is getting sucked out of the economy. The patient is pale. Let's draw another liter.

It's like a Monty Python skit in which the only people who don't know it's funny are the ones that everyone is watching. These jag offs don't know what they're doing or why or how to do it and they just want to get it done fast. Don't read the bill. Just vote yes.

We're in bad, bad trouble.
