If you support abortion bans...

And soon we as a society are going to have to make a very hard decision. There will be many unhappy people with whatever decision is made. Thanks to medical technology we have children able to live outside the human body until they are able to breathe on their own. That time will slowly advance. Right now it maybe a coin toss if a state would call the willful death of a premature baby as an abortion or a murder.

Do you really think there are enough people in this country that want to charge women with murder for having an abortion for it to become law?

If it did become law, would we not then have to investigate every miscarriage to ensure the mother was not at fault?

There are practically 0 people that want to charge mothers with abortions.

That is a pointless talking point. The pro-life position is against the sanctioning of abortion though medical practice.

Multiple people on this thread have said abortion is murder. If they truly feel that way then they have to support murder charges for the mother and the doctor.

I am only one voice in the efforts to decriminalize abortions. So, I know better than to presume that I speak for all the others.

I for one do support the argument for murder charges to (at least) remain on the table for women who abort.

It is what it is and the basis is very simple. If a woman (or anyone else) can be charged with murder for killing a child in the womb, even unintentionally, during the committing of a criminal act (sans our fetal homicide laws).... then why should that same woman be charged with anything less than a murder. . . If she kills a child INTENTIONALLY with an abortion?

Thank you for being straight forward. It is a conundrum that is for sure, one of many laws we have that really make no logical sense.

Why is porn legal and prostitution not?

Why is beer legal and pot is not?

You are welcome and for my part, society can afford to be a little more arbitrary on some issues more than others. Even to the point of contradictions like you illustrated.

Would you then support mandatory coverage for birth control in health care insurance plans? Would you support condom distribution in schools? Would you support a national sex Ed program?

What the hell is wrong with you people? Why are you so afraid of personal responsibility?

What the hell os wrong with you people? You preach smaller, less intrusive government. Shrink it down so small it can fit in a bedroom.

Anyone who wants government to be so small that it turns a blind eye to the slaughter of children is not wirth anyones time to consider.

The government has a legitimate role to play in defending the rights of all human beings within its borders. (children especially)

And once again, scratch an anti-abortionist, find a misogynist.

Why not go full boat. Investigate EVERY miscarriage like a homicide. Throw crime scene tape around tampons. We'll make those bitches understand they were just put on this earth to make babies!!!

Here we go, again.

I thought you leftardz were all for protecting rights.

Can you give me a good reason for why a woman's rights should not begin when her life does?

Using your fucktarded logic, anyone who wants stronger laws and punishments against rape would also have to have an agenda for investigating each and every act of intercourse. Materbation too, right? We can't have people out ther raping and molesting themselves, if we are to have any laws against rape.

Right, Joey?

Sure. Her rights begin the day she is born. Fetuses aren't people.

The problem with that logic is that to have rape investigation, you have to have a complaining witness.

So since a fetus, not being a person, can't complain if it was aborted or miscarried, how do you determine if it was wrongfully ended? Why, you'd have to have an investigation!

Again, this isn't idle speculation, because the State of Indiana has ALREADY prosecuted women for "Fetal Homicide" after they had miscarriages.

This is the dark path you nutter want to take us down to put those women in their place. I'd rather not go there.

What’s wrong with conservatives is they’re arrogant authoritarians who have long advocated for more government interfering in citizens’ private lives – the un-Constitutional notion of ‘banning’ abortion being one of many examples.

Rightists fail to understand that ‘small’ government is far more than just deregulation and allowing businesses to poison the environment, jeopardize the safety of workers, and endanger the wellbeing of consumers.

Are you really this stupid?

And there is the problem it seems no one can agree on even a legal definition of where the crossover is.

That is the case with many legal issues. There is a lot of debate on where self defense ends and murder begins.

And those people are both ignorant and wrong.

Abortion is not ‘murder’; the right to privacy concerns civil law, not criminal, protecting the liberties of citizens to make decisions concerning their private lives beyond the purview of the state.

No, they don't. I won't speak for them but the general consensus between pro life people is that they support such charges for the doctor but recognize the impossibility of applying that to the mother. Virtually no one supports punishing the mother for a failed pregnancy but they support charging the doctor for performing an elective abortive procedure.
Everyone is prolife – including those who support and defend a woman’s right to privacy.

Those who advocate for subjecting a woman’s doctor to criminal prosecution are hostile to the right to privacy, have contempt for the rule of law, and seek only to increase the size and authority of the state at the expense of individual liberty.

It’s you and others on the right who have contempt for personal responsibility – demanding that government dictate to citizens whether they may have a child or not and compelling women to give birth against their will through force of law.

Individuals are perfectly capable and responsible and don’t need authoritarian Republican lawmakers interfering with responsible adults making decisions about personal, private matters.

A basic chat bot could do a better job at writing your posts.

That's a pretty funny (ironic), but funny response. Projection at it's finest. Your Gov tells us we:
1) Must accept abortion in all situations
2) Makes us accept that children have the "right' have an abortion, get free condoms at school
3) FORCE parents to get certain vaccinations for their children
4) FORCE parents to allow their kids to be read to by Transexuals at school and PUBLIC libraries
5) Recognize homosexual marriages
6) Allow men to use women's restrooms depending on how they "identify" on any given day

YOU want the Gov to:
1) dictate "climate laws"
2) Strip the populace of their first and second amendment right
3) Make people pay for other peoples housing, food, phones, education etc
4) Extend healthcare to (free mind you) people who are here illegally

I could go on and on. Every time a law keeps you from doing/getting whatever it is you want, you want to change it.
I'm not a Republican son, I'm a simple man who refuses to bow to your totalitarian ways and refuses to let people like you get away with shifting the blame onto others. In short YOU Lefty's are the ones CONTANTLY trying regulate EVERY jot and tittle of everyone's life.

Not going to happen in your lifetime, there are still too many of us who know what you people are trying to do.
