Its a wordy title that says most of it. For more context I'll ad that I'm assuming consenting adults acting on their own free will are the actors in these films and they are 18 or older a the time of filming otherwise the film makers would be afoul of kidnapping or child predator laws and should be hung.

But yeah, if two hopefully attractive adults want to be paid to make a porn film should it be legal?

How about if they want to film 50 Shades of Grey IV?

Where do you draw the line?

Oh, and we are talking "Big Government" illegal here, not morally right or wrong. Plenty of religions exist which say you have to do this or can't do that. We're talking about cops arresting you under the power of Uncle Sam or California or whoever.

They can't be stopped so why not?

I hear you. On some level though heroin can't be stopped and neither can murders but we should have some laws. Not that small government me wants laws governing what consenting adults do with their sticks and holes. I'd go so far as to say xxx sites must have a line of code that allows browsers that have "kid" modes to avoid them. Who determines what an xxx site is? Google and even Duck Duck Go seem to do a decent job already (but there are holes). I'm sure it wouldn't take much to work on that.

The time to legalize prostitution is long since passed.

There are many arguments for legalization some of which are unrealistic but many others make sense

The arguments against legalization all fall short of reality and fall back on morality and religion.

Prostitution by law is sex for money. Checks, cash, money orders and credit card payments. Outside the law however many forms of prostitution are legal not just pornography. Prostitution can also be reasonably viewed as trading sex for any advantage or gain.

A student in college sleeps with the prof for a grade. An employee sleeps with the boss for a promotion. A sales person sleeps with a customer to close a deal. It is not even unheard of for a wife to perform extra or unusual sexual favors for her husband in exchange for something she wants.

As long as it is between consenting adults it should be legal.

the ''actors--actresses'' [ hahahah ] are not being paid to have sex with the payer

Sometimes they are.

Many porn producers are both the producer ( payer ) and the performer.

I read somewhere that this is sometimes called Gonzo porn. I don't get it but that's what I read.

Apparently there is a significant number of people who do this in porn or at least used to.

How bout what should be done to ease of access to porn these days by minors on the net?
That has been a problem for a long time.

I agree something should be done but I do not know what.

One would think it would be easy to block minors bit somehow they keep failing.

I doubt that it is about money since many of the easiest to enter porn websites are also free or mostly free.

I thought it was legal give sex ''''classes'' for $$$ --this was a way to do it ''legally''
can't they just say they'll pay for something--anything like a candybar/charity/etc [ for $100 ], then have sex? how is that not legal?
..I remember it was illegal to go around asking for donations or something, so we would sell some idiotic simple thing to get around the law..this was long ago, so my memory is bad
