If you only had one song...

Well Truthmatters we can finally agree on something. RHCP is my 2nd favorite band of all time. They were the soundrack of my teenage years.

Now do these two songs sound alike?

That is creativity.

when you hear a chili song you know its them but they do not sound like the same song.

And to think, the band thought this song wasn't good enough to make the cut for Blood Sugar Sex Magik so they waited to release it on The Coneheads soundtrack:

They are one of my all time favorites.

I truely would likely die if I really did have to pick just one song.

John Frusciante's sister and I went to the same high school. She was a freshman when I was a senior.

He was playing for a band Called Fear and I lived in riverside california.

We went to see them and slam dance and invited the band ( tiny venue)back to our house to party.

Flea and I think the bands head roadie took us up on the invitation.

Flea was about 18 at the time and was acting all tweeky and I threatened to kick his ass out.

His guy talked me out of it and I let them stay.

I figured it out years later.

it took me a good 20 years to make the connection.

i was looking at chili history and realised Flea had played for fear in that same year.

I thought about the guy and Sure enough he looked like a punk kid flea.
