How can anyone back a parety that cerashed the world economy twice in one lifetime and refuses to take the responsibility for what their historically failed ideas caused

For once we agree: FDR and Obama ran 2 of the worst economies in the history of the world, I don't see how people can ever supports Demoratics.

Both inherited economies that were trashed by the Republicans. FDR went on to be one of our top three presidents.......Obama, we shall see

The Hoover economy was crashed by a Federal Reserve that shrunk the money supply by 1/3 and stood idly by while the Bank of United States collapsed. The FDR Depression lasted for 7 years and only ended when Hitler conquered France in 1940

The Bush economy crashed when Fannie and Freddie pulled the entire US residential housing market down with their No Income No Asset underwriting standards. Obama had 3 years of 8% unemployment, and annual trillion deficits

I do not see the economy improving. I see democrats say it's improving. If the economy does not improve the unemployment figures should brighten as more people simply cannot afford to look for work anymore. They can't afford gas or parking for interviews, the job of finding a job will get too expesive to continue.

There has been a full court press by Democrats to try and convince women that the GOP "hates" them because Republicans don't want taxpayer money funding Planned Parenthood clinics that perform abortions and that this is the first step towards doing away with Roe v Wade and all contraception. Does anyone out there REALLY think Mitt Romney intends to do either of those things? This is just one of a series of side issues that the Democrats will run up the flag pole to see if they can distract the voters from issues like high unemployment, a stagnant economy and rising prices.

In the long run it will come back to being about "...the economy, stupid!" to use James Carville's admonishment to Bill Clinton before his second term. Clinton GOT that message and moved to the center, especially on the economy. Obama's strategy is to stay put and use the main stream media to push things like the GOP "hates" women in hopes that it takes everyone's mind off of his policy failures. I don't think it's going to work once the Republican nominee is decided and attention turns to Obama. He was the ultimate nebulous candidate running in 2008...all hope and change with little to no record to examine. Now we've got 3 plus years of "Barry-In-Charge" and things aren't so nebulous anymore. People understand now what effect his anti-fossil fuel stances will have on the price of gasoline and what that will mean in their lives. They understand that Barry cares for those that cared for him...giving campaign supporters like the UAW, public sector unions and Solydra sweetheart deals while leaving the rest of us twisting in the wind. I think women are smart enough to figure out what they are getting from another term with Barack Obama in charge. As Carville said...it's ALL about the economy..."
