If you lose the women, Hispanics, blacks and gays, Who do you have left?

Interesting to see all the flag waving, while ignoring the reality of WHY women are turning against the GOP. Could the attempted Blunt Amendment have anything to do with it? How about their trying to block reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act?

Hispanics? They're pretty pissed off about the GOP writing new laws that makes profiling them OK. Plus there's the GOP opposition to the Dream Act.

Poor and middle income heads of households? How about the massive cut the GOP budget would make to student loans and Pell Grants?

Sadly, little.
Must be why we ended up with what we've got. People like you don't understand.

Actually, I do understand

It is the Constitution that gives we the people the right to elect the candidates we feel are best suited to serve us. That right today is stronger than it was when our founding fathers wrote the document
Unfortunately, the understanding and knowledge of the document is weaker.

According to whom?

Disgruntled conservatives rejecting decades of Constitutional case law?
We have more liberty today than we did in 1787.

True.

The genius and legacy of the Warren Court is greater government restriction resulting in the preservation of individual liberty, as intended by the Framers.

Swing States Poll: A shift by women puts Obama in lead

New Republican mantra.......Demographics are for pussies

The biggest change came among women under 50. In mid-February, just under half of those voters supported Obama. Now more than six in 10 do while Romney's support among them has dropped by 14 points, to 30%. The president leads him 2-1 in this group.

Republicans' traditional strength among men "won't be good enough if we're losing women by nine points or 10 points," says Sara Taylor Fagen, a Republican strategist and former political adviser to President George W. Bush. "The focus on contraception has not been a good one for us … and Republicans have unfairly taken on water on this issue."

Who do you have left?

Old white guys.

The polls will swing back and fourth a lot between now and November a poll on April 1st means far less than one on November1st.

Don't worry.

Eric Cantor wants to be at the JOBS act signing with Obama.

The rats are leaving the sinking ship.

Whatever partisan predictions mean nothing saying it don't make it so no matter what side is saying it.

Only an idiot couldn't see that Romney is a poor candidate.

It's almost like the Repubicans are trying to lose.

You've lost the demographic that put the object of your fluffing in the White House...

Only a idiot would presume that Obama is a shoe in well that concludes the name calling portion of the evening.

I was not referring to you.

But Romney is not even liked by the Republicans.

Which makes me wonder........................

Did the GOP know that they were going to lose this year, which is why we had Michelle Bachmann, Herman Cain, and all the other bat shit crazies?

Where the fuck was Jeb Bush or someone who is actually liked by the GOP?

Who didn't see this coming? Great news for Obama.

The GOP's cunning plan to thwart this alarming trend is to run Marco Rubio in drag as Mitt's running mate.

And tax cuts for the wealthy. Can't forget that campaign staple.

“…and Republicans have unfairly taken on water on this issue."

‘Unfairly’?

Nonsense. The right has only itself to blame for losing this November. It would seem conservatives need to learn to take personal responsibility rather than whining about being ‘unfairly’ treated.
They never do what they preach for others to do.

New Democrat mantra... Polls are only for pussies when they don't reflect poorly on us. Otherwise, they matter.
Wow - Dick Tuck must have really slapped the shit out of you to deserve such a big font in your sigline!

And you tell the board with every post.

This country will once again see that white male votes will not win the presidency. This is why obama kicked mccains ASS in 2008. It will happen again. There is nothing that can be done at this point and I thank god for this. Remember bush..:(

Regardless, no president has been re-elected with approval ratings below 50 percent.

Obama is trying to get up in the 60s but all of this race-baiting and shit is just keeping him at around 45. It's pretty fucken pathetic.

Well, you can't fault him for not trying.

Yeah, and no Black president has ever been re-elected, either.

Dumbass.

Why do you think politics can be boiled down to gender, skin pigmentation or sexual orientation?

And age, education, religion, area of the country, occupation, wealth and hundreds of other factors

All add up to which issues you find important and which candidate you eventually support

I'm more interested in the constitution, not identity politics.
You voted for Mr Obama based upon identity, didn't you?

No you're not.

The Hobbits?
:wink_2:
Not yet, but I heard on the radio today that Peter Jackson is releasing production videos from the new movie on his Facebook page. It's being shot in 3-D with 5x cameras, meaning 5 times hi-res (5 x 1080). They are called 'Red Epic' cameras, and are capable of 120 frames per second!

It may turn out to be the best looking film made so far.

Don't you remember? They said "No more McCains! No more Bush! No more moderates!"

That's why they are about to nominate Romney.

Anyway, Jeb is no conservative. He's another establishment Republican, just like dad and big brother.
