Are you seriously comparing the invsion of Iraq to WW2??? Did Iraq invade us? Was Saddam trying to curb our freedom? What the hell are you talking about? And who are they fighting on a daily basis? What army exactly...? Oh right, poor Iraqis whose houses have been destroyed in the name of protecting America from tyrant who has already been removed, for having weapons we haven't found (but knew were there).

Great!

Everybody in the U.N. was sure Iraq had WMD's, and we're they're biggest target. Are we supposed to wait until they detonate a nuke in the middle of Manhatten before we do anything about it? If we had found out about Pearl Harbor before it happened, would we have been wrong to launch a pre-emptive strike to stop it?

My "love it or leave it" policy does not apply to normal protestors. People to oppose the actions of a current administration are at least showing concern for their country. It's the people that hold up signs supporting the Iraqi resistance, Hamas, and Al-Qaida that need to get out. It's when they directly oppose American, not just it's current government, that I say, "Get the hell out. You like the Iraqi resistance and the Islamic terrorists so much, you can go join them." I even respect the terrorist more than these guys. At least they back their words up with something instead of just making stupid signs.

Did I say it was? Do you have trouble comprehending again?

Shall I repeat myself?

"And you missed the point. If you burn a flag, we reserve the right to kick the ever loving shit out of you. Now THAT'S freedom."

How about if we just say those with an IQ less than 70 should leave? Either way, you're outta here, idiot!

in my opion you dont like anyone who disagrees with you. and you call me an idiot? if never said that to you. i still think we should be able to burn our flag. as a show of disagreement for what is going on.

Well then, your opinion is worth as much as your spelling. I disagree with my wife about 300x per day, and I married her. But you know what? She doesn't sit around comtemplating or defending the burning of our flag. If she did, I would call her an idiot too. If she wasn't a woman I would then open a can of whoopass on her!

This isn't not liking a 'person', this is about disliking those who will burn the memory of our nation and soldiers who died defending the right to wave that flag.

give me a break.

Apparently you have been 'on break' since grammar school. How about you just speak up if you disagree with our government, why would it EVER be necessary to desecrate our flag? Give me one good reason why this should be allowed and necessary. Can you not show your disagreement with words? Nevermind, I know that answer after reading your posts.

Hey Jimmy, many thanks for holding up the fort with the schizoid in here and war on terrorism threads. I've been a bit preoccupied the last couple days with my own knucklehead but i'm gonna start carrying my weight around here.

You want to go there. Did Germany invade us? We took out the "Army". Now we are fighting the "Insurgents/Terrorists" who have flocked in to attack americans.

And for your fucking weapons, get over it dumbass. Clinton, KErry, Kennedy, France, Germany, Denmark, the UN all said that he had weapons. All placed sanctions on him to remove those weapons.

All Bush did was read the report made by the same CIA and FBI that Clinton used to make his assumption and decided not to wait and find out if they were completed by having an American target attacked. He in fact was carrying out what the UN would do is they had the power to do it.

You are all over the place man. You are consistently incoherent though. As jim said, what would burning the flag do other than to piss people off? How will that help to make your point that the government needs change when people want to kick your ass for burning our flag?

Protests are normal. I encourage people to speak out against something. BUT there is a difference between a difference of opinion and genuine hatred for the president and their country. When you say "Bush is an idiot" and call it a fact with no proof other than to say "look what people say about him in France", thats not disagreeing with a policy or offering an idea to change it. Thats just spouting the same rhetoric that Democrats do on a daily basis. Then when someone disagrees with your rhetoric and offers proof to why it would never work, you either change the topic or start calling people names. Thats the problem. An information crisis.

When people choose to blindly beleive anything they see on TV or read in the newspaper or hear on the radio, then they are in trouble. If you listen to nothing but Limbaugh all day then you'll slant to the right and have no idea whats going on the other side. IF watch CNN all day you'll slant to the left and have no idea whats going on on the right. So you need to take it ALL in and decide for yourself instead of being led by your nose without questioning the source from where the information comes from.

Are you seriously comparing the invsion of Iraq to WW2???

Uh... did you fail remedial reading comprehension? Where in my post did you see ANY reference to WWII?

Did Iraq invade us? Was Saddam trying to curb our freedom?

Indirectly Iraq DID invade us. They support terrorists and terrorists invaded us. In case you've forgotten or missed the news reports, a couple terrorists flew some planes into some reeeally tall buildings in NYC, a couple more flew a plane into the Pentagon, likewise into a field close to my home. Iraq supports terrorists. Guilty by association. Id rather fix the problem before it breaks again.

And who are they fighting on a daily basis? What army exactly...? Oh right, poor Iraqis whose houses have been destroyed in the name of protecting America from tyrant who has already been removed, for having weapons we haven't found (but knew were there).

You really need to get out more, dude. Catching you up on news is rather boring. They are fighting what's left of Saddams fedayeen, and a couple pissants, much like yourself, who have been ambushing our military because they are too pansy assed to fight a fair battle. Just because the tyrant has been removed has shit to do with anything. Tell that to the family of the American hostages or Japanese hostages. Better yet.. tell that to the parents and siblings of the men whose bodies were dragged and hung off a bridge.

And as far as burning the American Flag, my only wish is, when you choose to burn it, you choose to burn it in my yard. That way I can shoot you between the eyes for tresspassing and rid this country of people who do not deserve to be here.

you all miss the point. freedom to me means that ican practice any religion i chose. or not chose i can burn a flag or give a speech without interference. i can look at porn and of course vote for who i chose. FREEDOM

No, it means you can do it without government interference. Doesnt mean people cant use their freedom of speech to counter yours, their freedom to lobby the government to stop porn, and doesnt mean they cant if they choose beat you over the head for burnign the flag. Just that the government cant do that.
