If You Doubt That You're No More Than An Intelligent Chimp

Wait till you pass 75, stand before a mirror, turn your hands and arms inward letting them hang palms inward in front of you....and study what you see.

An old uncle of mine who was nearing 80 went to a local doctor who had been treating him most of his life. He told the doctor what all had happened to him during the last couple of years. The old doctor said, "Loyce...when we pass 75 they ought to just shoot us"

Religion originated because primitive mankind could not accept his mortality. He dreamed dreams and saw visions and somehow conjured up a fantasy which allowed him....above all other forms of life....to survive. It is what it is.....the product of a developing imagination from those who believed in witchcraft and thought the earth was flat.

FYI

Pan prior is the name suggested by British biological anthropologist Richard Wrangham for the last common ancestor of humans (Homo sapiens) and chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes). This species is supposed, on the basis of DNA reconstruction (no fossil remains have been found), to have existed prior to six million years ago, when the human and chimpanzee lines are thought to have diverged. Pan prior lived an arboreal existence in the forests of Africa. It was initially thought that an Ice Age, around seven million years ago, caused forests to shrink thus prompting some members of the species to venture into the savannah, becoming the ancestors of humanity.[4] However, the discovery of Ardipithecus ramidus shows that bipedal locomotion was used both on the ground and in the trees around 4.4 million years ago. Researchers infer from the form of her pelvis and limbs and the presence of her abductable hallux, that she was a facultative biped: bipedal when moving on the ground, but quadrupedal when moving about in tree branches.

Secondly, him and others like him fall into step with God's Word anyhow; Many scoffers, etc. Don't worry, if this is what you want, you'll get it....you'll see more and more like yourself rise up against Him. Many will fall from the faith, betray, hate each other, more and more false prophets will come; dividing, twisting God's Word (see Matthew 24 below also) ... just a matter of time. What's amazing is that He shows us exactly what will happen; yet still people kick against Him.

2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Matthew 24

1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Phuck Jesus and Phuck Satan!

All religion is or ever was came from the wisest among the primitives figuring a way to control through fear of the unknown and keep women covered up so they wouldn't get any on the side. Well.....along about the 60's and 70's all that began to change. Most of us men have enough sense to doubt the origin of ancient god worship and women have begun to take leadership roles in society....and get just as much on the side as their masculine counterparts.

Democrats get a lot and brag about it
Republicans get a lot and lie about it

Actually the dumb apes are the ones who believe the tales weaved by the primitive apes from the stone age. Tales about virgin birth, walking on water, healing leprosy by touching, feeding thousands with two fish and five loaves then gathering leftovers, raising from the dead, turning water into fine wine, crucifiction followed by resurrection etc. Talk about not being the sharpest knives in the drawer.

You MUST couch it in "scientific" terms. THEN they can fathom the notion.

Say something like "parthenogenesis."

I don't see what's difficult to believe about it at all. Maybe 300 years ago it might have been difficult to believe, but we could impregnate a virgin through science without much effort at all. What is at all difficult to believe that an All powerful, all knowing God could have done it 2000 years ago when we dont know a hundreth of what He does?

And miracles may be difficult to believe in, but I've literally seen them. I've been healed by the power of God. Miracles happen.

No...what one must do is fall for an ancient god worship story which was told twenty times in N. Africa and the middle east beginning in ancient Egypt about 3000 years before the Jewish version...which they no longer believe themselves.

What a bunch of brainwashed suckers. When people from ancient times who believed in witch craft and thought the earth was flat tell you an unbelievable story about something which is supposed to happen to you after you die...........LMAO!!

You may not believe in God, but he believes in you. i love this one
Phuck god and the jackass they said he rode in on. If he's had any thing to do with what I've seen during my lifetime we ought to impeach his foolish ass. One thing made him a loser in my book. Telling George W. Bush to invade Iraq. Bush a born again Christian who was pissed off at Saddam Hussein for attempting to assassinate his daddy in April, 1993 just so conveniently prayed about Iraq and got the go-a-head from his man upstairs.

I have no respect for a god who approves an unnecessary war in which 4400 young Americans were killed, over 34,000 seriously wounded, conservatively 150,000 innocent Iraqis killed while two million others fled their homes to Syria and Jordon and just so a sitting American president could get some Texas vengeance because somkeone unsuccessfully attempted to kill his daddy. That whole scenario is foolish.

If anybody doesn't believe the Republicans had been trying to find an excuse to attack Iraq for years look at this letter they wrote to then president Bill Clinton:

January 26, 1998

The Honorable William J. Clinton
President of the United States
Washington, DC

Dear Mr. President:

We are writing you because we are convinced that current American policy toward Iraq is not succeeding, and that we may soon face a threat in the Middle East more serious than any we have known since the end of the Cold War. In your upcoming State of the Union Address, you have an opportunity to chart a clear and determined course for meeting this threat. We urge you to seize that opportunity, and to enunciate a new strategy that would secure the interests of the U.S. and our friends and allies around the world. That strategy should aim, above all, at the removal of Saddam Hussein’s regime from power. We stand ready to offer our full support in this difficult but necessary endeavor.

The policy of "containment" of Saddam Hussein has been steadily eroding over the past several months. As recent events have demonstrated, we can no longer depend on our partners in the Gulf War coalition to continue to uphold the sanctions or to punish Saddam when he blocks or evades UN inspections. Our ability to ensure that Saddam Hussein is not producing weapons of mass destruction, therefore, has substantially diminished. Even if full inspections were eventually to resume, which now seems highly unlikely, experience has shown that it is difficult if not impossible to monitor Iraq’s chemical and biological weapons production. The lengthy period during which the inspectors will have been unable to enter many Iraqi facilities has made it even less likely that they will be able to uncover all of Saddam’s secrets. As a result, in the not-too-distant future we will be unable to determine with any reasonable level of confidence whether Iraq does or does not possess such weapons.

Such uncertainty will, by itself, have a seriously destabilizing effect on the entire Middle East. It hardly needs to be added that if Saddam does acquire the capability to deliver weapons of mass destruction, as he is almost certain to do if we continue along the present course, the safety of American troops in the region, of our friends and allies like Israel and the moderate Arab states, and a significant portion of the world’s supply of oil will all be put at hazard. As you have rightly declared, Mr. President, the security of the world in the first part of the 21st century will be determined largely by how we handle this threat.

Given the magnitude of the threat, the current policy, which depends for its success upon the steadfastness of our coalition partners and upon the cooperation of Saddam Hussein, is dangerously inadequate. The only acceptable strategy is one that eliminates the possibility that Iraq will be able to use or threaten to use weapons of mass destruction. In the near term, this means a willingness to undertake military action as diplomacy is clearly failing. In the long term, it means removing Saddam Hussein and his regime from power. That now needs to become the aim of American foreign policy.

We urge you to articulate this aim, and to turn your Administration's attention to implementing a strategy for removing Saddam's regime from power. This will require a full complement of diplomatic, political and military efforts. Although we are fully aware of the dangers and difficulties in implementing this policy, we believe the dangers of failing to do so are far greater. We believe the U.S. has the authority under existing UN resolutions to take the necessary steps, including military steps, to protect our vital interests in the Gulf. In any case, American policy cannot continue to be crippled by a misguided insistence on unanimity in the UN Security Council.

We urge you to act decisively. If you act now to end the threat of weapons of mass destruction against the U.S. or its allies, you will be acting in the most fundamental national security interests of the country. If we accept a course of weakness and drift, we put our interests and our future at risk.

Sincerely,

Cammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmpbel, what you have chosen to do is merely to disbelieve what those whom you loathe the most believe. Not real discerning there. People I loathe like to eat strawberries. If I gave up strawberries because people I loathe liked them, that would be equivalent to what you have done. Not even a chimp is dumb enough to do what you have done.

Loathe............I feel sorry for people who are so dumb and naive that they believe a 2000 year old ghost story. I got over that shit when I was about 14 years old. I won a bet with a friend when I slept on his grandmother's grave...yep, all night long. $5 was a lot more money in 1948.

Now the pieces are falling into place. Millions of innocent children are starving to death on the planet and dying horrible deaths from preventable disease....but you got singled out for a fucking miracle. Right.

The problem with claiming that we are "nothing more than an intelligent chimp" is that it suggests we have some clear knowledge of what a chimp is, and we don't.
