Yeah..I saw the same picture. No face. No identification. No shit. And the police car was from a precinct in Brooklyn..way far away from Wall Street. Also..there was nothing even to indicate they were even at the protest area.

Its time to just legalize it across the board, Germany makes billions of dollars a year off their legalized prostitution trade, we are a bigger country than them and would make even more, it would take the girls off the streets and make them STD checks every so often and keep them clean, unlike now where the pimps these girls answer to beat their asses and get them hooked on drugs to keep them dependent on them.

The argument kinda goes off the rails when faced with reality. For one thing, EVEN in countries that have legalized prostitution there is a huge problem with illegal prostitution and accompanying crime. One of the reasons that the Netherlands has severely cut back on legal prositution.

Legalized prositution does very little to stop street walkers and high end call girls. Street whores just offer more. In Nevada, legal brothels require condoms. The men can't beat the women. Speed is of the essence. Most fetish is still illegal and would stay illegal for the dangers many fetishes pose. Not to even MENTION price. No overhead, no taxes. Girls who simply don't want to bother with periodic testing will still ply a trade on the street. The market for underage boy and girl whores will still be booming. Pimps will not stop creating sex slaves with drugs. Keep them clean! Oh please, nothing of the sort. For all that porn is tacitly legal the fight now is to pass laws forcing the porn studios to mandate condoms. AIDS and other STDs are epidemic in the porn industry.

The best thing that could be said about legalized prostitution is that we'd have both legal and illegal prostitution. While I don't particularly care one way or other whether prostitution is legal, I wouldn't make up fallacies as reasons to make it legal. We'd have the same amount of illegal prostitution as we do now.
