Those that abstained in 2016 expressed a political choice just a valid as anybody else's.

You might have a point IF THEY VOTED for someone guaranteed to lose. Then they could pretend they are above it all.

Not voting at all is not a "valid" choice, though I urge all who disagree with me to make that choice.
