Why do cons worship a union leader?

Unions served a pupose at one time. Not any more. Conservatives are true progressives who embrace change when it's time comes.

I disagree to a point. I like hiring union electricians, plumbers, roofers, and carpenters. I want them bonded as well. The system of apprentice, journeyman, and master really serves a purpose for both consumer and worker.

What I don't like is unions for idiots. When I worked for Bell System, I was in IBEW. What do I know about electrical systems? Nada. So many folks like me in these unions.

Actually, Unions HAVE a legitimate place -- up to a point.

The problem is that the present day Unions (especially the so-called public service types) go FAR beyond that legitimate place and WAY beyond that point.
