This is a weak argument. GOP always plays nice and then Democrats do what they want. People complain that a Trump state of emergency would usurp the legislative branch. Well what exactly was Obama and his pen with all those executive orders? What was the Iran-Nuke deal? What was stopping the Keystone pipeline? Plus, since 1979 many Presidents have declared states of emergency. Screw the do-nothing legislative branch and screw Democrats.
U.S. Presidents Have Declared 58 States of Emergency Since 1979. 31 Are Ongoing

We have to have border security that works or we will have more to worry about than a future dem president...besides when did rules and laws and the constitution stop a dem from anything?.....
If we allow the border to remain open our nation will look like California from one coast to the other...we will lose our nation....just like we lost the Golden state....

Uhm, try and keep up. Trump is walking that threat back LOL

do you people ever get tired of carrying around a bucket of that man's poop?

I agree with how these people described Trump's supposed skills as a negotiator...
Washington Post reporters David Nakamura and Seung Min Kim described it:

Trump’s approach is a hallmark of a president who eschews strategic planning and preparation in favor of day-to-day tactical maneuvering and trusting his gut. But as he digs in against an emboldened Democratic opposition, Trump has found that his go-to arsenal of bluster, falsehoods, threats and theatrics has laid bare his shortcomings as a negotiator — preventing him from finding a way out of what may be the biggest political crisis of his presidency.

Remember this when he does. He wasn’t going to win in 2016 either.

and Trump's afraid of some f you people, but he has nowhere to turn, like a cornered rat

Trump is afraid of Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Matt Drudge, Laura Ingraham and the rest of the far-right echo chamber. (He sees Sean Hannity as more of a house pet.) He’s afraid of his shrunken but loyal base, which could abandon him if he doesn’t give them a wall. He’s afraid of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III and the federal, state and local prosecutors in New York who are investigating various Trump enterprises. And he’s afraid of losing his coercive hold over the Republican senators who one day could sit in judgment of his fate.

Not one of these intertwined fears is irrational. Trump must realize he has painted himself into a corner but sees no alternative. According to news reports, the president knew his hostage-video Oval Office address on Tuesday and his photo op at the border on Thursday would make no difference. He must also be aware that the GOP leadership in Congress can’t hold the line forever.

Opinion | Trump is terrified of the far-right echo chamber

Mueller and justice coming at him on one side, and political realities coming at him on another side, and...

and all those investigations by state and local authorities into his sleazy family business...

Trump isn’t walking anything back. The media is correcting their BS reporting.

Trump will have a barrier built.
If it isn’t completed in his first term, it will be in his second.

The Iran deal voting was the worst I have seen in my lifetime. That they had to have enough votes to END IT and NOT RATIFY IT............That is simply not the way it is supposed to work.

It was never RATIFIED as a Treaty by Process. Therefore, it wasn't worth the paper it was written on................And it's gone.

I believe that is the point. We don’t want a precedence to be set, by doing exactly what Obama was doing.

Sometimes you have to get in the Mud with the enemy and scrap it out. The Dems are getting away with it time and time again...........Sometimes they have to get a taste of their own medicine.

That's awesome! That means we can always count on the next group of goons doing the same shit as those we voted out. Go team!
