Post Carbon - Cancun talks start with a call to the gods

Yeah, I know the PC crowd, the Pagans, and other assorted nuts are going to have a fit saying it's just as valid to open a session like this as any other prayer,

    BUT . . .

Considering how Ixchel was worshipped (yes there was human sacrifice), a most curious source this woman chooses for "inspiration."

Climate change is real. Only the stupid or willfully ignorant believe otherwise. You Nero, maybe both. How much is human activity and how much is a natural phenomena maybe unknown. But, the impact of human activity is an observable fact.
Human sacrifice goes on everyday and has for as long as man has lived on the earth. Go to any military graveyard, the evidence there is understandable, even for those willfully ignorant and stupid.

A personal note, Nero. Why did you cut and run when I edited you post. I was simply trying to help you form a well structrued and grammatically correct sentence. Really I was, I swear.

Well it's a drop dead cinche that some humans are likely to be (and really already are being) sacrificed by "market forces" as global weirding effects us.

So praying to a pagan God that demands human blood probably is fitting enough.

Of course my choice would have been to open the "talks" with a invocation to the god of materialism, Mammon, but I suppose Ixchel will do.

Interrogatives should be punctuated with question marks.
    The correct spelling is "structured".
    You're welcome.

Thanks Dave, how cavil of you.
You must excuse me, substance over appearance is important to me, and btw, I always had a clerk to proof my letters, reports and such. You were a clerk, weren't you dave?

Yes, just ignore the email scandal. Just ignore that cap and trade has crumbled under the weight of this scandal.

Just ignore all the evidence that Global Warming is a HOAX as conservatives have said for more than 20 years.

A bunch of Fruit Loops inciting Mayan Gods say Global Warming is real.

That just settles the debate, doesn't it? :eusa_snooty:

If you don't like your hypocrisy being pointed out, I suggest you stop being a hypocrite.

It really is a simple concept.
