If the Leftists in California Try to Secede from the Union

Anyone advocating secession is an idiot. That was true recently when crazy right wing politicians in Texas, and several other states were whining about it, and it's still true.

Let 'em go. Without Californias 55 electoral votes, there won't be a Democrat President for 50 years, Pelosi, Feinstein and the rest of the Californian delegation to DC will be gone, and they can take that trillion dollars in unfunded liability with them.

There were some very, very intelligent people who argued for secession during the revolution.

This sort of 'If you believe X you're an idiot" shit doesn't work on intelligent people, nice try though. The only people who use that for an argument are people who don't have an argument at all.

In any case, if the Californians want to secede, i say good riddance. Let them do what they want with their own state. It's their state after all.

Read a headline today on Drudge that 1 in 3 Californians are in favor of secession. That's a lot of idiots.

California has never decided an election. It's over before our polls close.

The situation now is not the same as it was during the revolution, and you're nowhere near intelligent if you think it is. It's their state, but it's our country.

The American Revolution was based upon a list of grievances that were first attempted to be reconciled diplomatically. Trump has been POTUS for 4 days.

Sure, and that's Drudge. You don't really think that's an accurate number, do you?

Let's see how they would do it. A coalition of trans-gender and metrosexual rebels would take over all the ladies rooms in the state and then try to negotiate surrender terms. Maybe Hollywood will stage a fictional invasion of the rest of the Country and pretend that California has conquered the U.S. and won the battle for independence. Maybe the pot-head governor will declare that California is once again part of Mexico. Hell, most of America would probably go along with it.

All concentrated in LA and SF.

Vivid imagination, or just more hallucinations?

Texas has the legal right to secede, California does not. If California tried, it would be an act of treason and rebellion. Considering massive bases like Pendalton, it would also be put down in about 5 minutes.

The Mexican army was put down in San Jacento TX. Jerry Brown's Mexican army would fall at Oceanside, CA.

I'm sorry, Texas has no more of a right to secede than California. Unless you're talking about that 19th century treaty whereby the U.S. gave Texas the option of breaking off into several different states. Not the same as secession.

Texas V. White makes that clear.

It will start with the end of kale being transported out of State, followed by chardonnay and cabernet trade blockades.

I can't believe the majority of people in Cali agree with the libs who are causing them these problems. There has to be some serious voter fraud BS going on.

No Texas doesn't have the right to secede, and people of Texas don't want to. Only a few crazies did.

Fake News? It's just a headline dude...it links to Yahoo News...an article from Reuters.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Reuters) - The election of Republican businessman Donald Trump as president of the United States has some Californians dreaming - of their own country.

One in every three California residents supports the most populous U.S. state's peaceful withdrawal from the union, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll, many of them Democrats strongly opposed to Trump's ascension to the country's highest office.

The 32 percent support rate is sharply higher than the last time the poll asked Californians about secession, in 2014, when one-in-five or 20 percent favored it around the time Scotland held its independence referendum and voted to remain in the United Kingdom.

California also far surpasses the national average favoring secession, which stood at 22 percent, down from 24 percent in 2014.

More Californians dreaming of a country without Trump: poll

Left leaning Yahoo and Reuters are Fake News...got it.
