If the economy is getting better, then why did new home sales in the United States hit a brand new all-time record low during 2011?

If the economy is getting better, then why are there 6 million less jobs in America today than there were before the recession started?

If the economy is getting better, then why is the average duration of unemployment in this country close to an all-time record high?

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of homeless female veterans more than doubled?

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of Americans on food stamps increased by 3 million since this time last year and by more than 14 million since Barack Obama entered the White House?

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of children living in poverty in America risen for four years in a row?

If the economy is getting better, then why is the percentage of Americans living in "extreme poverty" at an all-time high?

If the economy is getting better, then why is the Federal Housing Administration on the verge of a financial collapse?

If the economy is getting better, then why do only 23 percent of American companies plan to hire more employees in 2012?

If The Economy Is Improving….

If the economy is getting better, then why did new home sales in the United States hit a brand new all-time record low during 2011?
Because we have a 4-year backlog of new homes. We need to sell-off that backlog before housing recovers. Too much supply not enough demand.

If the economy is getting better, then why are there 6 million less jobs in America today than there were before the recession started?
Because the DC whores sold us out to Wall Street and gave tax breaks to move 3m factory jobs and 14,000 factories overseas.

If the economy is getting better, then why is the average duration of unemployment in this country close to an all-time record high?
see previous answer, before if there was an oversupply there were temporary layoffs until the over-supply was gone, now the fucking factories are gone. Good luck finding blue-collar jobs

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of homeless female veterans more than doubled?
good question? why are they any different than their male counterparts?

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of Americans on food stamps increased by 3 million since this time last year and by more than 14 million since Barack Obama entered the White House?
You need to look at the wage scales and what they call "the race to the bottom" of wages, if you want a job you need to get paid less than the other workers...aka "global economy" why would wall street deal with US unions when they can build factories and get slave labor rates?

If the economy is getting better, then why has the number of children living in poverty in America risen for four years in a row?

If the economy is getting better, then why is the percentage of Americans living in "extreme poverty" at an all-time high?
Because guys like Mitt and Warren are making $60,000 to $1,000,000 a day by moving jobs overseas

If the economy is getting better, then why is the Federal Housing Administration on the verge of a financial collapse?
Because low-lifes are not paying on their loans.

If the economy is getting better, then why do only 23 percent of American companies plan to hire more employees in 2012?
Because the government is pushing too many regulations like the new healthcare, companies are not going to over-extend their finances. If the USSC finds Obamacare unconstitutional the hiring will pick-up as demand picks up.

There's more questions in the link and in the questions is a link to verify why the question is asked.

I read this yesterday. Thanks for posting it. I notice crickets in here from the Statist side...:eusa_whistle:

They' must search for some recycled talking points and act as if it's a new talking point. The detractors will be here

Common sense tells us that the economy is not getting better, partisan bullshit is in the way for many. UE goes down while 1.2 million drop off the ass end and only 200+k jobs are created for that month, IE 1,350,000 jobs were counted as "created"... It's a scam.

"Getting better" is not the same as "gotten better".

Because various elements in the economy (like the RE market, or employment) do not move up or down in unison with the GDP.

Now honestly, lad, did you NOT know that?

Bacause if you seriously don't know that?

Really then there is no reason for anone to even consider you're POV about things economic

Go read a book, lad.

And the economy is getting better. Do you know what "Better" mean? (The economy is sick but is better but not yet completely well and the economy is taking steps forward and not backward. The economy are not in a coma and coming out of a coma):clap2:

Back up your allegation with some facts, please. Other wise you are only moving your mouth.

Absolutely. Question of the day is...will they? :eusa_whistle:

I just did. But perhaps you all don't understand.

The economy is getting better, yes. And by the way, it's nice to see you guys finally admit that. But just because it is "getting better" does not mean it is 100% back on its feet and back to where it was pre-recession. It takes time.

We're seeing some of the best job numbers in years. GDP is growing every quarter. The deficit is projected to be lower than what Bush handed over. Corporations are having record high profits and are sitting on $2T in cash.

Give it time.

So how is Obama demanding another 1.2T going to help things? All I see is government getting larger, the private sector being diminished.

$1.2T for what? I've heard nothing about another stimulus.

And you see government getting larger and the private sector diminishing because that is what you are choosing to see. If you looked at the job numbers, you would see some 3 million private sector jobs gained and a LOSS of 500,000 public sector ones.

In other words, the private sector is growing while government is shrinking. This is EXACTLY what you claim you want.

If you would have looked within the source you would have seen links that would show that the economy is not getting better but getting worse. Just because the government says that the economy is getting better do not make it true.

Statists enjoy lying and being lied to.
