If Ron Paul becomes president....

Basically recreating 1870 United States

Same monetary system, same foreign policy, same government services

No, simply according to the constitution. The year is irrelevant. Although I'd much rather have an 1870 government than a tyrannical, socialist, freedom attacking 2012 government.

As would most Libertarians

Somalia is their utopia. No rules, no taxes, every man for himself. May the best man win and to hell with everyone else

I'm sorry, Paul stands by the constitution and states rights... Or did you miss all that? You're talking about anarchy, why are you even here if you don't know and understand that extremely basic difference?

Would it be fair to compare Progressives to the Nazi's? No, so why do you do it RW? RW, you have made yourself irrelevant in debate, you don't add anything, that is why you have no ability to change peoples minds as all you put in is rabbid hate, and at best that is all you will get back.

Somalia has become the liberal version of the Christian hell. A place where all those who don't worship at the alter of the state will suffer for eternity if they dare to question the wisdom of ubiquitous government control.

Freedom? Burn in Somalia, sinner!!!!

His promise to cut 1 Trillion in first year and have a balanced budget within 3 years is the only reasonable thing I've heard so far from the Republican candidates.
This is the biggest issue the USA has.
My vote would go for him.

You call that reasonable? It would be as destructive as an A bomb.

he likes him because paul and his randian idiots hate israel.

Lol simply adorable.

Obamabots can cheer on their hero everytime he blows up a section of the middle east area killing all muslim families, women and children in the nearby area and they aren't bigots.

Ron Paul can say he wants to cut off all funding to all other countries, and since that includes Israel the Obamabots will call Paul and his supporters bigots.

Ahhh how I love partisan politics. :eusa_clap:

I’m going to do something here for you RW. I’m going to prove why you are irrelevant in debate.

RW, you go out of your way to sound as dramatic as possible, even if that means you have to lie or change your position on a dime.

Here is an example in this very thread, not even a very long thread, 2 pages is all it took.

Then…

As would most Libertarians
Somalia is their utopia. No rules, no taxes, every man for himself. May the best man win and to hell with everyone else

Here you went from claiming Paul wants a Government, laws and so on based on the 1870 constitution. Meaning you just said Paul wants laws, regulations. taxes and so on.

Then you shift from a society based on Laws that Paul supports to full blown Anarchy. This is all of course after you claimed Paul wants us to live in the stone age, so really you gave 3 entirely different kinds of society that Paul wants.

Odd thing of it is Paul wants to take the Government ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way back tooooo…. 2006 levels of spending.

Here is a quote: He would also scrap the Transportation Security Administration, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security, eliminate corporate subsidies, end foreign aid, and return most other federal spending to 2006 levels.

Paulonomics: Ron Paul

Paul has never said he wants to return to the 1870’s constitution, you did RW… Paul never said he wants Anarchy, you did RW… Unless you can find a quote where Paul said these things then maybe you should give up the facade of you being honest.

I have proven you to be wrong and possibly a liar (and you are), unless you have ANYTHING to back up your claims, you and I as well as every member of these boards knows you don’t so good luck there RW.

To the moochers, yes. To the producers, not so much.

You know,

You can cut a trillion dollars out of the budget without stopping aid to our allies.

All we have to do is stop aid to hostisle and questionable nations such as North Korea, and Pakistan, remove troops from stable nations such as Germany, and promote other nations to patrol and stop piracy in their backyards like the nations of the Arabian penisular, Indochina and around Africa.

The problem is, most nations realize they can use us because we Americans are f--king paranoid and they play on our paranoia to get what they want.

Will he foot the bill for the White House from his personal funds?

George Washington paid rent for the Samuel Osgood house.

:eusa_whistle:

he'd do that just like he adhered to his own belief in term limits...

not...

and to his own distaste for earmarks...

not...

luckily it's not going to be an issue.

His own distaste for earmarks!

America's Most Hypocritical Earmark King Is... Ron "The Representative From Stormfront" Paul

Even Paul doesn't say he's not the earmark King! He justitifies them.

...Paul made over $157 million in earmark requests for FY 2011, one of only four House Republicans to request any earmarks. Additionally, he made over $398 million in earmark requests for FY 2010, again one of the leading Republican House members...
Among Paul's earmarks are boondoggles like $38 million to "encourage parents to read aloud to their children", $18 million for a light rail study, $4 million for a "Trails and Sidewalks Connectivity Initiative", $11 million for an ACORN-like "Community-Based Job Training Program", $2 million for a "clean energy" pilot project, and many, many more.

All of the above earmarks can be found on Paul's own congressional website... Paul typically will make the earmark request, but then votes against or abstains from voting on final passage, so he can maintain his claim to have "never voted for an earmark", even the earmark requests he himself made.

As I saw someone post somewhere on the internet about this subject.

If Israel wants aid from the US then they should apply for statehood. Until then they are not Part of the US and our taxes should not be used on them.

Maybe you don't agree?

Why should I be taxed in order to ship money thousands of miles away to foreign countries?

See this is what happens, you talk about a trillion cut, but then point out where cuts should be limited.

That's what reps and dems do, they always talk about cutting the other team's goodies and expanding on their own and they never agree on cuts so they both just end up expanding on everything.

This is Paul's job, this is the law of the land today and this is one of the reasons he was put into office. Paul did nothing morally corrupted nor illegal. Paul did not set himself up for "advisor" or "Historian" jobs after he left congress or do insider trading... No, Paul did his job and earmarked moneys that was being taken from his state... Paul does not agree with earmarking but to not do it would devastate his district.

BTW. You're so full of shit your eyes are brown. You better get back to being nutty for Newtie.

Yes he does, that's why he votes against them.

If a billion dollars is already guaranteed to be spent, having it spent in your area is just trying to make the best of a god awful situation.

If Ron Paul becomes president...

Tell the folks ice skating in hell to watch out for the flying pigs.

As a supporter, sadly i agree.

Republicans would rather have Obama in office, democrats would rather have Newt.

They're all too bought in to big gov't and warmongering.
