If Romney is Elected he Will be a One term President

Romney will be a two term president, because people will be looking forward to President Ryan after that.

This thread is full of whine. Romney isn't even president yet and you've got a laundry list of reasons why any failures he has aren't his fault? Sheesh and you talk about Obama always blaming bush.

A thread full of whine while you are full of shit.............

Eh this is America.

If Romney gets off off the train off a cliff he will get a second term. If he can't, then like obama, he will be a one term president.

I'm wounded!

To think, a partisan hack like you doesn't like me? It will take me years to recover :(

Butt hurt alert! ;)

Spot-On on how the MSM treats Democrats & Republicans differently. It has been proven most of our MSM heavily favors the Democratic Party. The coverage is very slanted. However, i may have to disagree with the one term for Romney analysis. Most had George Bush losing to Kerry, yet he was reelected pretty easily. The MSM being biased doesn't always mean the Republican will lose. It does obviously help the Democrat but it doesn't guarantee them a win.

Excellent post but Publius I glazed over by the second paragraph. Most won't get past that.
Most libs won't even understand what a paragraph is.

Well done though. Quite eloquent and from the heart.
Bravo. Your heart is in the right place.

Thank you very much. I'm flattered because I didn't put too much time in to it and I hate crappy work! . I could have done better with a thesis statement, more merited/qualified partisan comments , more developed body, better transitions (They are horrible), and a solid conclusion. But hey, I'm not writing academia for a message board if you know what I mean. I guess, sense you were nice enough to take the time to read it, I want you to know that I can do better. However, people here don’t like to read anything, so it is what it is.

Thanks again

Holy shit! Do you know how desperate for approval that post makes you seem?

Thats a deduction, lets be honest, that I may have come up with myself if someone else posted such an op. However, the truth is that I really didn't think anyone would read it. I don't give the people of this forum that much credit. Furthermore, I was tired and bored and had this question rollong around in my head. Nevertheless, rarely do I care about how I "seem" in an internet forum.

A hypothetical Romney re-election campaign would be happening in 2016.

He's running right now on moving the Medicare insolvency date up to 2016.

Running for re-election at the precise moment your plan to bankrupt Medicare is coming to fruition makes for a tough sell.

An Obama second term will be the coup de grace for America's destruction. If there is to be ANY hope of a nation as envisioned by the men who created it the madness must stop NOW.

ETA: It may already be too late...

You have to laugh, don't you?

After eight years of Bush's overspending and mismanagement the entire global economy meltsdown - and you wonder if Obama will destroy America.

When I see these posts I wonder if the poster doesn't remember 2008, or somehow thinks the President has no impact on the conomy. In which case - why moan about Obama?

Bush's overspending and mismanagement didn't have a damn thing to do with the global meltdown, the financial crisis, or even the 2007 recession. If you cannot understand that, then you are just regurgitating Democrat rhetoric.

The 2007 recession was caused by a dryup of credit, initiated by falling housing prices and a large population of maxed out credit cards. Bush didn't max out the credit cards, or cause the housing bubble to burst.

The financial crisis was caused by bank and mortgage company mismanagement of mortgage loans and mortgage dirivitives. This mismanagement went all the way up to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Bush didn't do that either.

When America sneezes, the rest of the world economies catch cold. That initiated the global meltdown. Especially in the countries that were well into socialism. They were already stressed, and had no room to recover.

Tarp stopped the financial meltdown, and we were left with a normal recession. Obama's socialist policies successfully turned that into a deep depression, while making Bush look like a piker in the running up debt race.

d the unfathomable damage he will do to our relations with our allies .

Um.....what the hell does this mean?

Afer 8 years in which Bush strained every international alliance the US has, you fear Obama might damage relationships?

We can all disagree about politics, but let's try and stay in touch with reality, eh?

Like Bush or loathe him, polls show that under his government the US had 14% support in Finland, under Obama he has more than 70%. That support does count if you want us to buy your products - or go to your wars.

Arabs Like Saddam, Hugo Chavez, More Than Obama

Despite intense and sustained efforts to woo the Arab world with money and nice words, a newly released survey of the region finds that President Obama is at the bottom of a list Arabs admire most.
Obama is admired by just 4 percent of Middle East Arabs in the new survey released by the Brookings Institution and University of Maryland.
Above him:
• 13 percent prefer Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinajad.
• 6 percent prefer dead Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
• 5 percent chose Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez.
• Even 5 percent chose French President Nicolas Sarkozy over Obama.
And when asked if there could be just one superpower, who would they like it to be, Arabs snubbed Obama again.

Right. Of course.

Bush can not be held in any way responsible for either government policy or economic performance during his 8 years if office.
