Saudi Arabia executes prince for murder - official media

A Saudi prince was executed in Riyadh on Tuesday after a court found him guilty of shooting dead a fellow Saudi, official media reported, in a rare example of a ruling family member subjected to the death penalty.

"The government.. is keen to keep order, stabilise security and bring about justice through implementing the rules prescribed by Allah...," said the ministry statement.

At one time, people who took the life of another individual (Murder of the 1st degree) would be given a trial and if found guilty, would be put on the end of a rope, a quick drop, a sudden stop, and then that person could not be a repeat offender. Today, with all that liberal compassion to the felon and no compassion for the victim, we see time and again, people on death row, escaping prison, to kill again, and then get life again, just so they can start plotting on escaping again. Shame we have gone against moral values just so the Nazi party of the left can stay in power. How many more will die, while the left lives with their fully armed guards. Would the policies of the politicians be more in favor for the common citizen if the politicians HAD to live just like the rest of US?
