If Not Now? When?

When enough is really enough? When will we finally say: "Stop the killing"?
When America will be able to live together as citizen "brothers" and "sisters"? We are perishing together as fools, don't you see that?
We have to learn lessons from our history that shows- an eye for an eye retribution ultimately will leave everybody blind.
Why there is so much hatred? How about love and compassion? And, yes, what moral values do we have as a nation in this 21st century?

If God exists, and the Bible's true, we can conclude that murder is part of being human as the very first generation murdered via Cain and Abel.

If God doesn't exist, then we're just animals making a big deal out of nothing as murder is an artifical construct we created. But since we don't describe predation, or other animals' killings (bottlenose dolphins' 'murder' of harbor porpoises years back was a thing) as murder.
