I was just thinking.....regardless of if Obama wins the election or not, the conservatives will win in the end. We always do.

We've been told how liberals are so much smarter than us. That they have the fancy college degrees and are so much more intelligent. And we've been told how the evil rich right wingers are greedy, and we spend so much money influencing campaigns. And rich right wing CEO's are greedy and dont pay their fair share. And I wondered........if liberals are so much smarter than us, why is it that we managed to get so much richer than them? How can "99%" of the people have all the education, and the other 1% have all the wealth? Doesn't seem logical, does it?

We always seem to end up with more money. Hotter women. Better businesses. More influence. Yet...we're told constantly how much more educated the liberals are.

Seems like liberals know so much more about how the world "should" work.
And we know so much more about how the world "DOES" work.

When America realizes that these programs can't be sustained. At last estimate, Medicare is about 10 years from running on it's sword.

If Roe is overturned, then it becomes a state issue. Polls suggest it will be legal in half of the states (including CA and NY where I would guess a great many are performed). So the answer is never. And I would hope cons would never try to pass a federal abortion bill as that would be as evil as that bastard Harry Blackmun's decision in Roe.

What I am more interested in are policies that cause wages to rise as a result of good competition with the outside world. Some of that is already shifting. Francblo's babblings about Austrailia and NZ notwithstanding...if they had illegals like we do...they'd never make it. They also control immigration very tightly.

As has been pointed out to you in the past, Wyoming (a liberal bastion if ever there was one) was letting women vote in local elections 50 years before the 19th was passed. Conservatives have generally been leaders in this area.

Who cares ? Do blacks really want to go to places where people are forced to serve them against their wills ? Does anyone really think that legislating against bigotry is meaningful. Educating against it is much better....but given where our schools are headed, blacks and other minorities might want to consider "other" options.
