If humans went extinct, who should 'inherit the earth?'

Radio Rex

Why are we fascinated by the idea that people can wield power of communications transmissions?

Modern economics-based networking (i.e., eTrade) fancies developments in networking technologies associated with the high-speed Internet.

The A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) fantasy-adventure franchise "Transformers" (Hasbro) presents in its hall of robotics avatars two teams --- one the good Autobots, the other the evil Decepticons --- of miniature robotic-warriors who can transform into espionage-geared audio cassettes.

What is the nature of the imagination/intelligence signature that the human species is leaving behind as its characterization of the wizardry of the human intellect? Is it in communications sophistication (i.e., eMail, Facebook, etc.)?
