I got news for ya, big business loves to have government come in and rig the game for them. Don't allow any new drilling so the few sources of oil we have remain in the hands of a few. Prices go up. Profits go up.

Companies can make huge profits either way - from a heavily over-regulated rigged system, or an open free market with lots of competition. Making money against competition is harder, it forces them to work hard and keep prices low. Making money in a rigged system is much easier, all you have to do is contribute money to campaigns.

Its amazing how idiot libs still don't get it. Conservatives want business to have to compete by working hard and keeping costs low, but Dems want a rigged system so they get big campaign donations....regardless of the higher costs to consumers in a non-competitive system.
