I believe very strongly that citizens should learn English. And not just citizens, because English is the global language. That is why it is taught around the world as a second language. Absolutely it helps the immigrants. And efforts should be made to get them speaking English. If they do so in the Czech Republic, why not California?

All things should be considered in moderation. People draw the lines in different places. Should we outlaw smoking in every spot in America? Let us bring back prohibition. Alcohol is dangerous. Let us also outlaw food that contains over 30 percent fat. Let’s reduce automobile speed to 30 miles per hour. To what degree are we to protect people from bad choices that they might make and to what degree are we going to allow them freedom that might result in personal damage?
