Bill de Blasio drops out of 2020 presidential race - CNNPolitics
"Washington (CNN)New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Friday that he is dropping out of the 2020 presidential race, ending a campaign that failed to gain traction amid a crowded Democratic primary field."
This is what I found funny:
"I feel like I've contributed all I can to this primary election and it's clearly not my time"
- de Blasio
IMHO, his contribution would have been a lot more impactful / meaningful and would have saved everyone a lot of time if he would have just donated all the money he spent on his doomed-to-fail campaign to a homeless shelter, orphanage, or the SPCA instead of making the decision to run...
