Iceland held a funeral to mourn Okjökull, its first glacier lost to climate change

It is important to understand why glaciers expand and contract. Gore is actually right that all European glaciers are melting. He is simply wrong about the cause. The European glaciers are melting because tectonic plate Europe is moving SE, and has been for tens of millions of years.

70 million years ago, dinosaurs roamed what is now Antarctica. Those dinos didn't live on top of 2 miles of ice at -60F. Rather, Antarctica was teeming with life at the time, because it was not yet on the South Pole....

It is fun to point out all the errors the "warmers" have made over time. They claim Antarctic ice was once larger than it is today. Their "evidence" is the clear evidence of glaciation at the southern tip of South America. But, once again, their analysis is static, and doesn't account for tectonic movement. When South America and Antarctica broke off from Pangea 125 million years ago, they were stuck together, and only recently, meaning in the past 30 million years (kind of like "soon" in the Bible), broke apart.

What is the evidence of that?

Look at the Transantarctic Mountain Range, and then look at the mountain range on the western side of South America. They both match up perfectly...

Good map which shows what is under the ocean, the mark of the "break up..."

Nobody cares about Iceland. And who would want to go there since you are forced to drink only the local beer. Anything imported is mega expensive. $18.00 for a six pack of Stella...….fuck that place.:abgg2q.jpg:
