while it was not anything crazy like it is now i seriously doubt that it was just a $100.00. nowhere close to that,much higher.

Hals would be rolling over his grave for sure though to see how the owners in this day and age put new stadiums over history and tradition.he would agree thats a travesty.
 
It seems to me that these sport franchise prices are a bubble that is about to burst.

The cheap price for teams way back then, and even Ralph Wilson when the Buffalo Bills and AFL started in 1960, is sort of mis-representative. Profits came much later and teams were only sustained by the owners shelling out money year-after-year to keep them going.
