I Urge Israel To Take Out Iran's Nuke Plant. You?

It's a no brainer. Self defense. Whena leader publicly decalres a desire to kill you and then is as close to nuke weapons as Iran is...bah!

Amazing, the Zionut Entity has not right to exist , let alone invade Iran. Indirectly, you are asking that the US gets involved because when Iran retaliates the Obama administration will claim that it had "no choice" but to attack Iran.

.

what the hell do you mean israel doesnt have the right to exist.

Ok, YOU dont have the right to exist. Someone should come to your house forcibly remove you and kill you, because well, you dont have the right to exist let alone defend yourself

Idiot

Israel has a right to exist, but if it nukes Iran, it won't exist thereafter. Israel is the geographic size of New Jersey and is surrounded by hostile nations. It wouldn't stand a chance of surviving retaliation.

Sure it will. Especially thanks to all those nice shiny weapons from their western allies and all those nuclear weapons to turn the Middle East into a radioactive warzone. Then they can make all the illegal settlements they want. They'll just have to deal with the radioactive reactions.

did i miss something? i didn't see any suggestion that Israel nuke Iran. The suggestion was that Israel take out Iran's nuclear capability.

And you presume that the moderate Arab states would be troubled by Iran being de-nuked. I think that's a leap.

The Iranians are well aware of that possibility and have arranged their sites to make it difficult to do just that.
I think it is a sucker bet. I would not be surprised if Iran is actually pretending to do it to goad Israel into attacking. And then they strike back with the Arabs as their allies. I'm just fantasizing all this of course.
Israel is in a very dangerous position. They can't strike, and they can't not strike. This isn't like either the Iraqi reactor or the Syrian site.

Yes its a no brainer..Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wishes to erase Israel off the map. Why? That word Israel belongs to at least three religions.:eusa_whistle:

I oppose the United States support for the Zionist sect of the Jewish religion. We are even taxed to support this bullshit in the middle east. Sadly, our president did not have the balls to rescind recognition of Israel when he found out its name. He got sucked into writing the recognition of the Jewish state before he knew its name.:cuckoo:

Rename the state! Don't confuse it with the other religions.

The first part I bolded was right, second part wasn't. They can strike all they want, but they know the backlash would be their end if they were wrong or hit the wrong area. Especially since Israel supposedly doesn't have nuclear weapons according to themselves.

If that happened, it would become necessary for us to sever all relations with Israel immediately.

i urge israel to do what it feels is in her best intrest, they dont need permission from us, jst as we do not need permission from anyone else to do what we see as the right thing for our national security

'Wiped off the Map' – The Rumor of the Century

by Arash Norouzi

Across the world, a dangerous rumor has spread that could have catastrophic implications. According to legend, Iran's president has threatened to destroy Israel, or, to quote the misquote, "Israel must be wiped off the map." Contrary to popular belief, this statement was never made.

On Tuesday, October 25th, 2005 at the Ministry of Interior conference hall in Tehran, newly elected Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered a speech at a program, reportedly attended by thousands, titled "The World Without Zionism." Large posters surrounding him displayed this title prominently in English, obviously for the benefit of the international press. Below the poster's title was a slick graphic depicting an hour glass containing planet Earth at its top. Two small round orbs representing the United States and Israel are shown falling through the hour glass' narrow neck and crashing to the bottom.

Before we get to the infamous remark, it's important to note that the "quote" in question was itself a quote – they are the words of the late Ayatollah Khomenei, the father of the Islamic Revolution. Although he quoted Khomeini to affirm his own position on Zionism, the actual words belong to Khomeini and not Ahmadinejad. Thus, Ahmadinejad has essentially been credited (or blamed) for a quote that is not only unoriginal, but represents a viewpoint already in place well before he ever took office.

The Actual Quote:

So what did Ahmadinejad actually say? To quote his exact words in Farsi:

"Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad."

That passage will mean nothing to most people, but one word might ring a bell: rezhim-e. It is the word "regime." pronounced just like the English word with an extra "eh" sound at the end. Ahmadinejad did not refer to Israel the country or Israel the land mass, but the Israeli regime. This is a vastly significant distinction, as one cannot wipe a regime off the map. Ahmadinejad does not even refer to Israel by name, he instead uses the specific phrase "rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods" (regime occupying Jerusalem).

So this raises the question.. what exactly did he want "wiped from the map"? The answer is: nothing. That's because the word "map" was never used. The Persian word for map, "nagsheh" is not contained anywhere in his original Farsi quote, or, for that matter, anywhere in his entire speech. Nor was the western phrase "wipe out" ever said. Yet we are led to believe that Iran's president threatened to "wipe Israel off the map." despite never having uttered the words "map." "wipe out" or even "Israel."

The Proof:

The full quote translated directly to English:

"The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time."

Word by word translation:

Imam (Khomeini) ghoft (said) een (this) rezhim-e (regime) ishghalgar-e (occupying) qods (Jerusalem) bayad (must) az safheh-ye ruzgar (from page of time) mahv shavad (vanish from).
