Back in 2008 when I was attending community college, a Palestinian guy who had grown up here in America asked me if I liked Arabic (Muslim) music. I told him "No, can't stand the sound of it."
He briefly give me a hard look, before saying "well, everyone has their preference."
I get the feeling that had I been back in Australia, or in a European country, I would have been accused of being an intolerant person, or a racist, or a plethora of other names.
What do you all think?
