I think I'm going to move to Breckenridge......

hey sarg, why isn't Lush in jail? 10,ooo pills is trafficking in most states compared to those poor black boys that are still in jail for a couple of joints

He probably should be. You expected me to argue that point? I do not listen to any of these talk shows on any side. They are the same as a Hollywood actor. Nothing but entertainment. And I don't need them when I have all of these boards.

I quit smoking pot 25 years ago. It got to a point where all it did was make me paranoid, no fun in that. Quit drinking about 15 years ago, I have much more fun sober.

sarg on that we can agree, but lush is as dangerous as the far left loonies, extremes can bite you in the a$$ in a hurry

Never had any interest in smoking dope. Still don't. Don't drink -- except for a special occasion every few years or so.

But I don't think drugs should be illegal. If people want to use and kill themselves---have at it.

So long as they're not using and driving, or doing other such things that might put my life and my family's life in jeopardy, who gives a fuck?

Give 'em a doob. A quaalude. A percocet. Amphetamine. Whatever. Control them the same way alcohol is controlled (taxed and regulated), put 'em in the drug store and make 'em legal.

I don't have the right to tell you not to kill yourself with drugs. That (should be) your choice, and your choice alone. However, if you're gonna use, don't infringe on the rights of others to be safe and not endangered by your drug use. No driving and using. That's DUI/DWI---same as alcohol. Lock 'em up.

Since then? Harvard Medical and the Royal British Medical Society have both done extensive research into cannabis as well. Currently, it is showing great promise as treatment for Alzheimer's disease (it helps clear away the plaque of the brain), as well as a possible treatment for autism (it helps to slow down the brain).
It's showing a great deal of promise in cancer research too.

And here is the reason...........

Breckenridge, Colorado voters legalize marijuana, paraphernaliaVoters in the ski resort town of Breckenridge, Colorado legalized marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia by a nearly three-to-one margin on Tuesday.

It is the first municipality in the United States to allow paraphernalia, such as pipes, bongs and bubblers.

"[The measure] passed 73 percent to 27 percent," ABC 7 News in Denver reported.

"'This votes demonstrates that Breckenridge citizens overwhelmingly believe that adults should not be punished for making the safer choice to use marijuana instead of alcohol,' said Sean McAllister, a Breckenridge attorney who proposed the ordinance," ABC continued.

"Possession remains illegal under state law, but Breckenridge Police Chief Rick Holman said his department will 'still have the ability to exercise discretion,'" Colorado's Summit Daily News added.

Who's with me?

Marijuana is for losers, but polls show that the happiest people in the U.S. are in the Rocky Mountain states.

Colorado also has the thinest population, Wisconsin has the fattest.

Balloon Boy, his crazy assed Dad, moron Mom and brothers are in Colorado. They look(ed) happy too! ;)

Maybe the pot is where the Dad got his half-baked ideas? :cuckoo:

The shit's illegal. Don't mess around with it. Many moons ago I got bored with it, made me want to clean and organize everything.......DH said he'd buy me a pound.

Seriously, although I think Ollie is a dingbat, I do think the Bible is referring to Hemp, and GW and TJ were definitely hemp farmers, everybody was until the oil barons got together and made it illegal. Hemp is the perfect plant adjunct for humans, it's like it was tailor made.

Ron Paul wants to make it legal again. We have some test growers here. It' stupid that it is still illegal, let alone pot. Why clog up our legal system with stoners? They pay more taxes for snack food.

Only stupid people do drugs. Why else would they call it 'dope'.

YouTube - I got stoned and I missed it

I think stupid people link Ray Steven's songs.

I like Breckenridge, but prefer Crested Butte.

Actually Dr Hook did it first I believe.

I've already linked to Dr Hook's 'Got Stoned', I like variety. Personally, I have no problem with decriminalizing drugs - cull the idiots from the population through their own stupidity is fine.

I recently worked on a set of articles with academics confirming the links between pot and mental illness. This thread could back up that research.

Dope smoking idiots? Like who for instance?

The Jews? You do realize that they used cannabis oil as part of the Holy Anointing Oil of the Kings of Israel. Jesus Himself was anointed with it.

It was also used recreationally as well as medicinally by Gods Chosen People, the Jews.

Never mind that George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson all smoked cannabis as well.

The only reason it was made illegal was because of a racist named Henry P. Anslinger, who was head of the FBI, and looking for a way to put all the Blacks and Hispanics in jail.

Nixon commissioned a thing called the La Guardia Report, to find out about the effects of cannabis on the human body. When it came back highly favorable towards cannabis? Nixon threw it in the garbage.

Since then? Harvard Medical and the Royal British Medical Society have both done extensive research into cannabis as well. Currently, it is showing great promise as treatment for Alzheimer's disease (it helps clear away the plaque of the brain), as well as a possible treatment for autism (it helps to slow down the brain).

Too bad Ronald Reagan didn't know about that, it may have helped to make his final years a bit better, as he had Alzheimer's pretty bad.

So...........tell me again Dim Bulb/No Logic, how is it bad?

Who? Everyone and anyone that chooses to smoke dope is a dope.

And you are an ASSHOLE!:cuckoo:

I used to partake some years ago and I just don't get how you can say it is safer than alcohol. You hold it in your lungs and it has to cause some damage over time. It also contributes to short term memory loss. THC impairs the immune system's ability to fight disease.

I can't rattle off other kinds of damage it can do but I don't see it being any safer than alcohol or even ciggies..
