I still don't understand marijuana legalization people.

I'm sure most of you have heard the phrase that the only people who support marijuana legalization are people who smoke it. While that is in fact true, atleast for the most part, I still don't understand the potheads. Sure, they want it to be legal so they can get their fix, and continue using harmful and illegal substances (which wouldn't be illegal if they had their way). Most people are opposed to legalization of illegal drugs, but I just don't get why some people think it's a good idea to make it legal? People who say "it puts innocent people behind bars" are idiots. Innocent people don't use illegal substances. There is no reason for marijuana, or any other illegal drug, to be legalized. You don't want to go to jail? Don't use illegal substances.

The only legitimate use for illegal drugs is for medical purposes, but if you just want to go get stoned and/or feed your addiction, then it's not okay. And people who say that marijuana is not addictive at all are full of shit. People get addicted to marijuana all the time and they suffer from it, just because you got lucky with a joint once or twice, doesn't mean that everyone is immune to become addicted and/or dependent.

I'm sure most of you have heard the phrase that the only people who support prostitution legalization are people who put Pg-13 porn in their avatars.. While that is in fact true, atleast for the most part, I still don't understand the pornheads. Sure, they want it to be legal so they can get their fix, and continue masturbating to porn (which wouldn't be illegal if they had their way). Most people are opposed to legalization of prostitution, but I just don't get why some people think it's a good idea to make porn legal? People who say "it puts innocent people behind bars" are idiots. Innocent people don't view porn or have porn avatars. There is no reason for porn, or any other illegal sexual content, to be legalized. You don't want to go blind? Don't masturbate.

The only legitimate use for porn is for medical purposes, but if you just want to go get a boner and/or feed your left hand, then it's not okay. And people who say that porn avatars are not addictive at all are full of shit. People get addicted to porn avatars all the time and they suffer from it, just because you got lucky with a website once or twice doesn't mean that everyone is immune to become addicted and/or dependent.

See how easy that is?

She's a 20 year old professional model, I don't see what the big deal is?

It's a plant that's not physically addictive and has no known connections to criminal behavior outside those associated with the black market created by people like you. It was made illegal as an excuse to harass mexicans and jazz players and to eliminate the competition and enable the commercial success of the paper companies who paid off the congressmen.

I don't see what the big deal is.

No intelligent individual supports and/or endorses an illegal activity, yet a select few uneducated persons seem to support the use of marijuana, which is an illegal activity.

List three reasons this behavior or substance should be criminal.

1. Because it's illegal...that's why it should be criminal.
2. Because it is a gateway drug.
3. Because it makes you gay...which should also be illegal.

(My guess as to his answer if he answers at all)

For most of human history Marijuana has been legal. The cannabis plant has been one of the most important crops in human history as well.
Our Consitution was drafted on hemp paper. It took a consitutional amendment to outlaw alcohol consumption. Laws to restrict free men from growing hemp or using it's flowers to get high on, or any other substance for recreational purposed are unconsitutional period. The drug laws are fascist in nature. Anyone who supports the drug war is supporting a fascist policy. That you rationalize your opposition in such a way it is clear that the propaganda the US government uses really does work. How old are you, or are you still in school?

Do you have any idea how many people have died from THC overdose?

Tetrahydrocannabinol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
According to the Merck Index, 12th edition, THC has an LD50 (dose killing half of the research subjects) value of 1270 mg/kg (male rats) and 730 mg/kg (female rats) administered orally dissolved in sesame oil.[19] The LD50 value for rats by inhalation of THC is 42 mg/kg of body weight.[19] One estimate of THC's LD50 for humans indicates that about 1500 pounds (680 kilograms) of cannabis would have to be smoked within 14 minutes.[20] This estimate is supported by studies which indicate that the effective dose of THC is at least 1000 times lower than the estimated lethal dose (a "therapeutic ratio" of 1000:1). This is much higher than alcohol (therapeutic ratio 10:1), cocaine (15:1), or heroin (6:1).[21]

My old college roommate years ago was a serious, serious potsmoker...but I don't think he ever approached smoking ten times his body weight between classes:lol:

Isn't it safe to say that if the lethal dose is ten times the average body weight, there is no effective lethal dose? I'm pretty sure ingestion of 1500 pounds of....anything...in 14 minutes will kill you.

Ingestion of that much solid and liquid would make for an interesting stool.

I'm trying to visualize 1500 pounds... maybe that would be two eighteen-wheeler trucks packed full?

I wonder if that much weed is consumed in any given 14 minute period in the entire country. :eusa_think:

Why? It's called liberty......perhaps you've heard of it. I've never touched the stuff. But if someone else wants to light up sitting at home, more power to them. It's no skin off my back. If you disagree, I'd like to see you jump on the bandwagon to make the mind altering substance called alcohol illegal again.
