Friends of mine that were gung ho Obama supporters 4 years ago have completely did a 180 and are going with Romney now, I didn't watch the debate I was making dinner but I talked with some friends about it afterwards and even the ones who still support Obama admit Romney got it in, Romney must have totally dominated the debate because that debate alone has people going to vote for him it seems like.

Who r u and what have you done w/ High_Gravity :eusa_think: "gung ho" supporters of Obama are NOT going to go running to the party of McConnell, DeMint (Mr. Standing filibuster), Boehner (T-Party puppet at the moment) & the t-party. Sorry. They might have been tepid to moderate supporters but not gung ho.

I can see why support for Obama is falling but how can people think Romney is any different?

obama's bad points are piling up. The debate just shined a light on them.

Because Romney has a proven track record of entering liberal territory and bailing out a failing government, and not falling down on his promise to restore fiscal propriety to his state's coffers.

Liberals just wanted him out of the way, so they could dig in to the treasure he accumulated for the state, so he was not re-elected.

Libbies just use people who are skilled financial arrangers until they have all they want, then they have no use for them, no matter how great their contribution was, other people's money is their alcoholic excuse for guzzling it all down when nobody's looking.

people are disappointed w/ the President to an extent , taking into acct/controlling for blatantly overt Republican obstruction, BUT that doesn't mean they write off their political principles. I don't care much for Lieberman (D) but that will not entice me to vote GObP.

Mitt Romney had the worst job record and raised taxes, many believe that is why he didn't run again.

Romney is different in at least one key way. True, the GOP spends the same as the DNC, the DNC loves war the same as the GOP, the DNC lies, the GOP lies, the rich get richer when the GOP is in poaer AND when the DNC is in power.

The difference is that businesses and corporations, you know, the people who create jobs and wealth, will do better under Romney and they know it. Economically, we will be better off with Romney.

I know, it's not much but it IS a difference.

I don't think Romney would blame Obama the way Obama blames Bush in order to shirk Presidential responsibility.
Really? You don't think that Romney would get in and say "It's worse than I thought"? Of course he would, he's a Politician. I don't know why people think he's any different or some sort of great guy.

Well I'm just speaking of people that I know, these guys voted for Obama in 2008 but are not going to do that this time around.

What did they say they like about the Romney in the debate?

They said he was more aggressive and dominated the debate, I have yet to hear anyone say otherwise regardless of what party they are with.

Bush walked into a recession, the collapse of the dot com bubble and was in office when a man Clinton didnt take custody of planned and executed an attack on us.

How often did Bush blame CLinton?
